The mother made the right decision. Nothing is much painful than a mother being separated from her child. But she knew that prison is not a safe place for a child. Her son deserves a happy childhood. Sending her son to a foster family was the most painful and righteous decision a mother had to make. Shows repentance.

This story was almost believable until the end when he said that they moved into Florida. Nowhere in the US do they let incarcerated mothers keep their children longer than three years and that's only if the prison has a housing nursery to keep the family apart from the prison. However most states don't have child housing nursery's so they end up in foster care or other relatives immediately after birth. When a parent goes to jail they loose all parental rights. Its sad but true.
@nicolestewart69844 жыл бұрын

There are some prisons with special programs for mothers that are expecting, they can raise their baby in prison but there are certain guidelines. For instance: You have to have be convicted of a non-violent crime (already this is false because they were in for attempted murder as well as the burglary) your release date also has to be within a certain time frame of your baby turning a certain age. Definitely not exceeding 2. So this is most unbelievable story ever. There is no way any prison would allow this mother to keep her son all the way till he was 7. They would force him into the system if there was no family to take him.

Shower time must be the best time for him. Edit: nevermind. Very bad memories from the showers.

this doesn't quite add up. In the US and Canada last I remember there is no discussion if a mother is pregnant upon giving birth child is taken away from the mother and either put in the system or raised by a relative. Most other countries that I'm familiar with a woman giving birth in prison the child is taken away and put in foster care or raised by a relative. There have been cases where prison guards got a female prisoner pregnant and that's part of why I literally know about this I've never heard of somebody being allowed to raise their child in a Canadian or American prayers and same thing for several other countries my first thought was which country did this take place in.
