Just blame those gravel tyres. That's like 20W right there! Seriously though man good for you, 1. for doing it and 2. for uploading it. That attitude will only get you fitter. You can tell you've never done an ice bath before with how fearlessly you got in that hahaha

You are such a huge inspiration! You are one of the reasons I "dared" to buy a roadbike along with my MTB since everyone else around me are 60kg people that thinks everything under 75K is a joyride. I'm 43 and prolly weigh 15kg too much but watching you push yourself IRL and in Zwift have been a big motivation :) Congrats on a cool experience!

I am sort of glad I rode up there alone. In a group I probaby would have finished last, Strava confirms this. The final part of the climb does feel long. Also I felt some underlying terror because I thought the final Netflix-built ascend would be much steeper 😊 Thanks for the video, if someone asks me about the experience, I finally can show them some good images 😅 Envious of the jersey!!

Well done. Remember: comparison is the thief of joy (to some extend). There will always be someone fitter, faster, better... but u did it, enjoyed it, had fun. So, a W for you. If I with 90+ kg would compare myself to all these hip, young, fit individuals on roadbikes, well, i would be depressed i guess ;D But, i dont. I have fun, and step by step getting fitter and faster along the way. And so should everyone.
