The online shopping in the Philippines is not popular bcoz 1st. the logistics between islands are costly and not properly set up.. 2nd. The Internet, banking infrastructure and security is not safe enough that Amazon is not there. .. this is why Malls are still king in the Philippines.

@@chadalexander Also go out to a house in the villages and look for an address, the houses doesn't have a number, most of the streets doesn't have a name.. Amazon can't deliver without a street address.. Lazada - the local Amazon - deliver some goods but if its big then you can't order it to a village.

I lived in cebu city for 7 years, i ordered most of my stuff from lazada and Amazon in the USA. In some cases it was cheaper to buy from Amazon, then buy the same imported item in the PI. Plus, Amazon u know u are getting legit product. I never had problem with shipping or receiving from Amazon.
