Jim will tour Hopp Inn Hotel and Avida Towers, and visit an Art Maze event with Mary Ann, Filipina Wanderer on KZbin. And KZbin vlogger, Reynalyn Jainga will join in to see how much seafood they can get for sixteen dollars.

Cebu is one of the most developed provinces in the Philippines with Metro Cebu being the second-largest metropolitan area in the Philippines.
In this video, I tour Cebu IT Park and Cebu Business Park, two of Cebu’s most popular destinations for expats, retirees, and location-independent entrepreneurs.
BEST NEIGHBORHOODS IN CEBU
Several developments in Cebu are considered “trendy” or “cool” and are usually located near commercial centers and have easy access to everything.
Cebu IT Park - has first-world standards like sidewalks, proper-sized roads, coffee shops, restaurants, condos, and a new mall.
Many employees in the IT Park area work at business processing companies and call centers servicing the United States and Europe. Workers are coming on and off of shifts around the clock, so many restaurants are open 24 hours a day. With this, there is a well-educated group of English-speaking professionals in the area, making it easy to make Filipino friends.
Cebu Business Park (CBP) is home to several multinational businesses, residential condos, hotels, and the Ayala Center shopping mall, which draws 85,000 visitors on an average day.
CBP is the single largest urban development project in the Philippines outside of Manila.
Calyx Residences are located in the residential enclave of the Cebu Business Park, two blocks away from Ayala Center Mall it is home to Cebu’s first high-rise rooftop infinity swimming pool on the 28th floor offering a panoramic view of the channel, the city harbor, and the mountains surrounding Cebu.

There's a bus that'll take you from IT Park to Sm Seaside and all the way to IL Corso (another cool spot to dine and roam around in). Everything in IT Park is just a few steps away from each other -- coffee shops, condos, hotel, supermarket and the like. Avida Tower 1 was my official residence during the lockdown -- with Sugbo Mercado right up front. This video brings bits and feels of nostalgia. While in Cebu Business District, I really fancy Kate's inside Rustan's supermarket for there coffee and bread/pastries. And the nearby Ayala Mall, it's got UCC and Starbucks (my favorite coffee shops), and a host of restaurants and joints to choose from -- Laguna Cafe and TGIF tops my list. Plus the shops inside with most of the brands you can imagine (H & M, Mossimo, Terra Nova etc).

Daniel Sandy, Thanks for the comment. I will definitely show the available channels in the future. I don't usually watch TV so I have overlooked that information. I know that they usually offer CNN-Philippines, Fox, and maybe 20 more channels that you would find on a basic cable package in the US. If you book a place at $40 or more per night, you can find places that also include Netflicks.

The Streetfood you can have cheaper, but as you explained in your other video, Cebu IT Park is one of the "better" areas, so the prices are also higher. If you want live music, and a really big and lively market, you can go to the Carbon Night Market. A bit cheaper but also quite popular. You can find other of those places in every big district so just try some out. Sugbo Mercado is quite small anyways, so you might want a bit variety anyways.

ayala area wouldnt be the best place if you wanted the "street food" experience. its a high-end, developed area. so its mostly business buildings, the mall, and condos. if you want legit street food and stalls, fuente or colon would be the best area to go, but best bring a local with you bc it can be busy and slightly sketchy for foreigners.

No prob. Certainly, you're not their market. He he. Nustar Resort & Casino's 7-star Nustar Hotel's villa is priced at P350,000/night. Hotels and rental properties have their own target market. @@Matthew-gz4oh As I said, if you have 'the money' you won't mind paying that amount because that is how property market goes. Location, location, location! The location is always paramount in marketing your property. If that property is located in another city that is less desirable with very limited market prospect, then that price is certainly not justifiable. Look, property prices in Cebu never dropped during the 2-year pandemic period (2020-2022) and developers even continue building more while other cities virtually stopped building residential condos.
