Jose did a good job at Man United. 3 Trophies in his first season (incredible) a solid second season, finishing 2nd, getting to the fa cup final, lost the league to a brilliant man city team and lost the final to a tough antonio conte chelsea team. Utd had a great record against the big 6 that season. Then in the 3rd season it fell apart, he wasn't backed in the summer. But overall, he did a good job, brought in some trophies. Best utd manager since fergie left!

If you buy them then you can’t change your mind? lol Unai Emery bought Stephan Lichtsteiner. After Bellerin got injured he didn’t play the player he signed- he played Maitland-Niles instead. Why? Oh yeh, because Lichtsteiner wasn’t good enough. A manager has the right to change his mind- if Jose wanted to sign 5 Central Defenders, he should have the right to- without being vetoed by financial advisor who knows nothing about the technical side of managing a football team.

Pogba going would not have solved anything. The biggest problem at ManU is their inconsistent signings. That is not Mourinho's fault. But Jose's attitude was making a bad situation much worse, and it was time for him to go. After being clobbered by Liverpool, he was basically daring the owners to force him out, or back him to the hilt with massive new signings. A choice was made.

This aged really well about Maguire... lol Why did Man United though they would be better off without Mourinho's experience is beyond me. They probably thought they had a Zidane or a Guardiola in Ole and completely missed the mark. Mainly because Guardiola coached the lower levels of Barcelona for years and when he went to the main team, he knew who he can use from those younger levels to implement a style of football they were teaching for years and years to the young cadets, which Guardiola used brilliantly. Zidane knew very well the main team of Real Madrid, their strengths and weaknesses because he was the right-hand man of none other then Ancelotti. Learning from the inside and with one of the best. So when he arrived as coach, it was natural, he knew what to do with those players and the players knew him very well already. Did Man United consider all of this when putting Ole in command? Nah, the whole "former player that turned coach" was enough to think he could be a Zidane or a Guardiola. lol It was the same mistake as Pirlo in Juventus.
