You are an inspiration. My father rejected me even before I was born. My mother struggled single-handedly to raise my brothers and I. For a long time I kept asking myself why??? but one day, I rose above that and summed it up with 'All is working for my good'. God has been faithful.

Am a Nigerian that resides in diaspora. African parents should learn to be supportive to their adult children and not to discourage them. On the other hand you have the right to marry whom ever you choose to marry. Your family members can not tell you who to fall in love with. Keep on keeping on. The Lord has always been with you and he will continue to be your guide

It is painful to have abusive families. The cutting her off after marriage for marrying a person of another race is not because of cultural differences but because she survived it all, including the evil foundations and the expectation from family was for her to become nothing due to the foundation of coming from unmarried parents. Why would a family call a woman a prostitute if she got married? The truth is her story is proof that God is bigger than any religion. Another issue is if the Muslim way is the perfect way of life, why did the father not marry her mother. I suspect the mother also went through abusive. Thank God for the Mighty God we serve who made it possible for her to survive all evil powers including curses. I am happy she ultimately made peace with her mother. She married a good husband too. The horrible things African women have to endure. Fauza is truly a phenomenal lady.

The best thing for her was for the family to reject her , it was a blessing in disguise , they rejected her in the first place. If they were still in her life, they would mess her marriage up and her life. Even Abraham had to leave his family, move away from them in order to be blessed and leave in the perfect Will of God.

Gal you are strong Fauzia. You took the right choice my daughter. You stood for your rights and principles. The parents who initially called you a mistake cannot turn around to pretend to validating it. You are articulate and God fearing child. There is no child(product) born of stupidity is stupid but God's child. You refused to believe in curses because naturally such curse was in vain and by all means doomed. You picked your heart's desire and ignored other people's expectations because what matters is your happiness not theirs.. Remain strong and continue pursuing your destiny which God defined for you. They should go to hell big time. Rev. Ruth, that's a true spirit of resilience, boldness and God's child. You did a good thing to bring this girl. She made full disclosure compared to others we have listened to. Kudos!
