Regarding the tastes of perk, there's empty perk can artifacts you can find in outbreak and you can see the ingredients. Quick revive's ingredients include: Russian trench water, feline urea (cat piss), fish oils, etc, so yeah I'd say its pretty tasty. Speed cola's ingredients on the other hand would basically make it a mountain dew energy drink with hot sauce mixed in.

I got some good tips for you to start. Start with snipers, specials, and launchers. They are the hardest. Do firebase first for fast elite kills. Once your elite kills are done go back to die machine,and go up top. That is the fastest way to get criticals ond over all kills. Once you have about 12k points you can unlock the doors, pack once and get dead shot. Then either go back up top or train in the spawn area. Spawn area takes longer but is way easier. Also use aether shroud not ring of fire. The 2 get out of jail free cards is better than the extra damage. Last tip is try and get a e tool from the mystery box. If you do all your melee attacks while holding your gun will be the e tool and you can pack it and put mods on it. Freeze is the best. Good luck, and have fun! edit: the soda machine spawns at round 20 upstairs. But after you pack, going into the aether will have it there for easier perks before round 20.
