Cold War zombies was honestly a really valuable experience for a lot of people, because the noob friendly gameplay gave a lot of people the opportunity to try out zombies when they weren't comfortable with it before. I hope treyarch is able to advance in this direction while also maintaining the difficulty in other maps (maybe even a hard mode for veteran zombies players that isn't just more zombie health and damage)

Jev, I can tell you as a Zombies player, building traps (like Die Rise) and wonder weapons (like the Wunderwaffe DG-2) are considered Easter Eggs. They are not what we usually refer to when we say "Doing THE Easter Egg" as that usually refers to the MAP Easter Egg, but we do say "Weapon Easter Egg" or "Free Gun Easter Egg" and such so yes. You are an expert now!

if you wanted to play some earlier zombies maps but dont want to feel lost or overwhelmed. try playing dlc 1 for IW zombies (Rave in the Redwoods) or the on disk map for ww2 (the final reich) both of these maps are extremely simple and easy to follow but arent walk in the park easy and take a little skill that feels extremely rewarding in the end.

BO3 Custom Zombies on PC is great. You should give it a try sometime and play some of the customs there. A few good maps are Leviathan, Der Hafen, and Nightmare ( which is almost like a campaign mission). These are only a few of many great bo3 custom zombies maps.

Long shot but, Jev should try the bf3 mod remaster of the bo2 map town. It's absolutely gorgeous with bf3 zombies mechanics and game play on pc/controller. 10 out of 10 wave based zombies training Sim. And a hugeeeeee nostalgia hit for us 90s babies.
