Gareth broke my heart when he scored that overhead against LFC in the champs league final. Being Welsh I could not hold onto that because of what he did for us with the dragon on his chest he and his team mates made us all dream in 2016. By far the best ever footballer to come out of Wales and arguably the greatest to come out of the UK.

Bale felt at home in the Champions League and made his mark before Madrid. What he achieved at Madrid without bowing to the name or criticism from players, manager and fans. He completed football without giving a 💩 about perception. Got the job done

There is no part of Liverpool that is remotely close to Wales or North Wales, what on earth have you taken? Ones in England the other is not ... Wales is a completely separate country to England. Liverpool to Wales is 3 hours 30 minutes and Liverpool to North Wales is a 2 hour car journey. Furthermore, you think that Liverpool should be a Welsh team because both areas apparently hate the three lions? You're comment gets more ridiculous as it goes on. It's like me saying Manchester United should be an Irish Football Club because Roy Keane was Irish, it makes 0 sense. Bale beats players and goes forward with more skill than Cristiano who generally chops back to safety backwards or laterally and more often than not, he ends up having to pass it because he can’t usually get beyond a defender unless it’s a vertical foot race from a good pass/passage of play.
