I LOVE Zanzibar and Stone Town. Be sure to go to Livingston's Bar and grill/restaurant and sit out on the sand and watch the people wander by. Unfortunately they changed the menu (made it more "yuppy-trendy" for the tourists), but its still nice place under the big fig/magnolia trees.... If your staying at one of the beach hotels/resorts, pick the west/Tanzania side, not the Indian Ocean side. The beaches and water are much nicer....

It's too bad that you didn't study Swahili in school in Uganda. My wife learned it in school and seems to know it pretty well. She knows six languages! 😳 Lusoga (her tribe's language), Luganda, Samia, English, Swahili, and one more I can't remember.

Nice vlog, Zanzibar is pretty.I have always said I'd go there if I had a chance. The title of your video saying forced, is a bit of a stretch. "Proposed" would have been a bit more accurate. Also although Zanzibar "belongs" to Tanzania. I think at least saying Zanzibar in the title would be more accurate than just Tanzania alone.

@bossandbellamoss5932 Yes, that’s exactly what I meant. I am not hating on Julian, in fact I was one of his first subscribers. Now that he has his footing, I want to see his perspective on his videos and Josey’s on hers. It was never the Josey and Julian channel. They have been very respectful and generous towards each other and great friends, but Josey started her channel quite some time ago. Her interactions and reactions to her travels are what makes her unique. Likewise for Julian, whom I also have complete respect for. He has been a bright spot in Josey’s life and travels. Who knows whatever the future may bring? I hope it’s joy for both.
