Dave was one of the first speakers I heard at a 12-step meeting after relocating to a new town to get sober. If I remember correctly you were fairly fresh out in 2011. Since then I have watched this man become a beacon of hope to all. He has helped countless individuals, including myself. You know what you did for me Dave (Tony & Mary-Ann). Keep saving lives brother. Love ya buddy!

Everyone has a different story and bottom but bottom line is drugs and alcohol brought us down. I actually used my 10 month prison term to get clean, workout and plan for a clean and sober life. So far so good coming up on 5 years in a month. Thank God for AA life is good today one day at a time.

Coming up on 7 myself. When I share that I started at 13 years old some people recoil like jeez that is young. Then you hear this video and dude was a seasoned vet user at 13 .... This channel is great at voicing stories that make my incredibly degenerate past seem like small fries. Amazin

fknwht mail yes this channel is awesome. My use started around 15 years old. I ended up being a homeless drunk/drug addict. Went from institution to jail In a vicious cycle for well over a decade. It took going to prison for almost a year for me to see the light and change everything. Congratulations on seven years

@@allansmasterspowerlifting.390 i know your story bud, i've lived it except i was out there for 20 years. Let me leave you with some food for thought though so we aren't just glamorizing burning our lives to the ground: the amends you don't make, the universe will take. You know that $30 we burnt Aunt Sharon for years ago that you never paid back? It'll make you look at why that tire blowout had to happen to YOU at the worst possible time - a little differently.

Think I recognize this man. Oh yah it's the happiness of being clean and sober,😁 on January 1st 2021 I've been sober and not smoking for 3 months. 3 months and 8 days now. I'm 62 years old and I think finally I'm one of those people that just is sick and tired of it. For some reason I did just a bit have a twinge I want him to drink. Then I ran across the channel. And it's one of the best channels on KZbin that I found. Cheers everyone good luck to everyone who is struggling.

@NarLyNaRdi4 жыл бұрын
Because a lot of tattoo artists are junkies and we all run together. My tattoo artist was the one who got me to try H, after being an oxyhead. Plus, you can just sit there for hours on end and not feel a thing. My artist was amazing, when he was high. If he was sick, you better get him well first. He messed up a lot of my friends tats because they didn't know they needed to pay up front, to get good work.

Sorry to get lazy at the end and not explain. My friends did not condone the use of heroin or did not know he was a junkie or they did know he was a junkie, and thought he would run away with their money, so most the time, he was sick, doing their tattoos because he didn't have the money yet to score dope.
