To all the people in this comments section saying this story sucks, know that other people don't have the same black and white worldview. I respect what the MC did. He helped her become a better person even after all she did to him. It's a true sign of wisdom to lend a hand to someone and help them change for the better. If I was the MC, I would've done the exact same thing he did in this situation. I need to make something clear: It's not impossible for someone to change their ways. Don't believe me, look up Daryl Davis. Let's just say he has a similar approach when dealing with his enemies to what the MC did, and it's worked for him on several occasions.

“How does a bank go bankrupt?!” That’s a good question.
@ReyKaz2510 ай бұрын
THE HELL!? Kyosuke should just left Hasegawa after all the mockery she has done to him! 11:03 that is the reason why she became a worse person because of her ego. She became overconfident in herself and thinking that she's elite! Which is why the bank that she used to work at got bankrupt because of her. Idc if Hasegawa is his childhood friend. Kyosuke is just too kind to help her. He'll be taken advantage by her soon because he spoil her too much that he paid off her debts and spoil her too much that she'll be back to her usual self or worse, BECAME A GOLD-DIGGER and dump him for a rich man.
@ericcollins149710 ай бұрын
Id counter that point because of her pride she wouldn't take his money the whole time till it was so bad to where she was working at. All the mockery she did was barely kids level of mockery of everything we see on these channels. So her pride having finally hit the breaking point I'm pretty sure she's at the point of change to atleast try to be a better person like she used to be from what we were told of her past.

he knew that she had just strayed from her path of being a good person, and that all she needed was the right people to guide her back, as he said "she used to use her confidence to help others" so all in all, its a realistic ending, people who stray from being good usually need the right person to point the way back

@@GM-yg9nq The only problem for me is that he gave her a lot of money for free despite being arrogant and foolish. I don't know what she was in the past but when she was working in the bank she lost any good character that she had. She had the audacity to look down upon her college mate, she was acting rude towards the clients, had narcissist vibes and what finally sealed the coffin her frankly borderline retarded money borrowing and subsequent refusal of help. He basically gave her free money, no repayment contract, no demand to repay him. Helping is good, i would also help but i would provide her a contract with interest based on a bit higher or the same as inflation. She wasn't his family or friend but simply a college mate who acted rudely.

#1 Kasuga did what a person should do with true friends: help him when he really needed it. Maybe he could have helped his friend better and a little before she got into big trouble. Maybe he should have intervened when he saw his friend change and become the snooty girl she has become. #2 The story leaves a sense of dissatisfaction, as if something was missing. Perhaps the girl's redemption is treated too hastily. Too little time passes since he "rescues" her in the end, in which in fact there is only the revelation of Kasuga's identity and we know that the girl started working there and exceeded expectations. We see no real repentance or real maturation in her behavior.

Alternate Ending: Kyosuke: Rinka, even if you do anything for me, I'm not going to help you pay off your $10k loan. When we we're childhood friends, you used to help others. But now you looked down on me. You are on your own. Bye, Rinka. Rinka: No!!!!! And just like that, Rinka was taken away by the loan sharks where she was murdered in the back of the Hostess Club. I won’t like nor dislike this video because I have a mixed feeling on this. One, the FMC got corrupt and her confidence was high that led her ego getting the better of her. Two she made fun of the MC and told him how poor he was as soon as she saw him working part-time at a convenience store. And Lastly, the MC could of just ignored her but his dumb, empty simp head decided to help her after all the cruel things she done and said to him (Mani Mani has a terrible reputation of this same bad habit and it’s getting out of hand, I’m going to unsubscribe if they continue this in January, there are much better channels out there that have done better endings with the MCs cutting ties with the FMCs who have hurt them) Sorry for this long paragraph but I have to say what’s being said, these MCs in these stories on this channel are a little too nice that leads to them getting manipulated by others, and the terrible, unlikeable FMCs are not getting their comeuppance, being rewarded, or getting off scott-free in the endings and that’s why I have mixed feelings on this video.
@aaronfraire907310 ай бұрын
1. Can't argue about her ego. 2. Yeah, looking down on others is a dick move. 3. However, I don't think the MC was a simp. He was just helping his childhood friend who lost her way. Would you still say he was a simp if the friend was a guy? 4. You want bad? Ever heard of Manga Soprano? I can count every video they made this year where the antagonist suffered consequences for their actions on one hand and have fingers left over. The rest the videos have the MCs forgive them despite the antagonists committing various straight up crimes. At least MMP here has their antagonists suffer consequences once in a while.
