Rochelle don’t feel guilty having a house help (aka nanny in Canada or USA). Most families in African countries who can afford one have them. The only advice I would give you is “please pay her accordingly (the right wage). Treat her like family. And hopefully she doesn’t steal some of your stuff.

Awe. I would love to see your dad in Ghana. I’m sending wishes for continued healing for your dad. Glad they caught everything before it turned into anything more. Unfortunately, my grandmother passed last year after a stroke that was caused by a blood clot. Mama Hyacinth is doing good, as well.

Rochelle, your dad may need to make sure he doesn’t have a blood disorder or disease that causes clotting. My mother in law had a blood disorder that caused for a special diet and medication. Prayers to you and your family.

Your dad will be okay ,I have a heart problem too and I wear a pacemaker and I’m sure your dad is on blood thinners ,I had two attacks in less than a week ,I died two times and came back to life ,God bless your dad

Praying your Dad has a speeding recovery. But I'd say this is bitter sweet but a blessing is disguise. I know you must feel defeated trying so hard to get him out there but in the process you ended up saving his life 🙏🏽. Don't feel any ways about asking for help. You're doing an amazing job. You gotta take care of yourself and make sure YOUR good so you can be at your best for those 3 beautiful babies. I am also at SAHM and my mom recently retired and Monday to Friday she comes over from 830- evening and helps with my 3 kids. I'm now trying to use my time wisely but some days all I want is a mental break. I'm so grateful for her help.

This is the thing about ppl being judgemental. Most people think it's NORMAL to do it all, and it's not. Even if we look at the bible, the women didn't do it all and most were essentially SAHM...they had maidservants. Your baby is so cute he looks just like his big brother. As a nurse I would advise against your dad travelling so far with all those stints and high clotting factor it’s not wise for him to be seated for so long on a flight. I think it’s best you fly to see him and since he’s had so many I’d recommend you fly to see him. He’s very fragile. Hope it all works out 😊

Rochelle. Long-term flights are not for you Dad if he's susceptible to clots. Please let that man stay where he is. However, if he's in Ghana and there is an emergency whilst in Ghana just make sure there are excellent and efficient hospitals nearby your house.
