It’s the water and type of climate. My hair grows like crazy when am in South Africa but when I go back to Canada, it breaks. There is some in the water plus Canadian winter

Rochelle you can make your own cheese. I'm 90% plant based the only animal product i use is fish and that's because i'm not consuming enough beans and nuts ( nuts can be quiet pricey in the caribbean) that have protein for my daily dose of protein. I'd usually make cheese using coconut milk. Also, for milk you can try cashew, almond or oat. I mostly use cashew milk for baking as it is very creamy and has a nice flavour when added to baked items.

The secret is to eat what is grown locally and locally sourced. I wouldn't demand to eat yam on Eskimos ' land. There are countless of greens in ghana. You only have to ask. I wouldn't worry complaining about brocoli and other fruit and veg which are alien to the tropical climate. Food grown organicly in ghana are some of the most nutritious you could ever get due to the type of soil these crops are grown. Sourcing farmed, anti bacteria raised salmon in ghana is counter intuitive. I only eat farmed raised salmon socially and wouldn't buy it myself. Have you tasted wild salmon from British Colombia before? Locally grown food are tastier than the chalky and rubber tasty imports. The key is to buy directly from the farmers if you can. Good luck.
