Wow, Im a parent and now grandparent. To hear a testimony from a young woman going thru the same struggles that the younger generation’s in my family are going thru has opened my eyes to be more supportive of them and be there for them in their search for God. Its in the journey of finding Jesus that will change them. Walking with Jesus is an experiential journey, not theoretical. Love what you are doing for the Lord. 💯❤️

She is being completely honest about the Spirit coming over you and not being able to stand. It also happened to me in my kitchen. I was also a lukewarm Christian and was tired of living that way. I prayed and asked Jesus to really come in my life and that I would spend the rest of my life living for Him. All of a sudden I was filled with peace! It blew in my body like a strong wind! I physically felt it! No lie. I started crying and fell to my knees. I wasnt trying to do that at all. It just happened! I then felt like my eyes were opened for the first time in my life! I then somehow knew I was finally a real follower of Jesus. My life hasnt been the same since. I give my life to Him daily by staying in prayer and in reading the Word. Its all real, nobody will EVER convince me otherwise. I know what is real and my life before Jesus was all a delusion and distraction.

Wow I had a similar experience . Jesus GOD and the HOLY SPIRIT came into my life just one random day and completely changed me in a matter of minutes. I felt the holy spirit literally in my body . Absolute bliss, love,pure Ness, oneness. It lasted strong for 3 weeks. It was like nothing I have ever experienced and there is no doubt in your mind that you are experiencing GOD. You can literally speak right to him and KNOW he is listening and always has been. You know things that you have always questioned about our existence and the spiritual realm. GOD is healing me of a 13 year long addiction. I got sober 4 months after this experience. I haven't touched drugs in 15 months. Before feeling the HOLY SPIRIT I wasn't able to ever get 1 day off drugs. Praise to my lord almighty. I don't know why he gave me this gift. I didnt and don't deserve it but I wake up every morning grateful that now I know the truth that GOD is real. And he is a loving, living, merciful, Good GOD.

I think it's important to say that being Christian doesn't mean you don't make mistakes. It has to do with knowing God and God knowing you. The corrections are continual and they pretty much never stop until we are gathered to Christ and given new bodies and new hearts which are uncorrupted. The burden of a Christian is willingness. Don't use longer fast, or longer Bible reading, or longer prayer as a way to make up to God about what you have done. It will never work. We don't have to earn God's love for us or forgiveness for us. God knows the promises we make won't be kept becuase were human and that is our nature. God is instead gracious to us and we don't even deserve that. Just repent truly, don't go back to it and move forward in your walk with Jesus. As you grow and move forward with Jesus the desires to pray more, fast more, and read more will be there and you will start to do these things. Just don't force yourself to do these things because you wanna make it up to God. To obey is better than sacrifice. Always remember that.

Thank you for sharing your testimony. Thank you for exposing the dangers of staying in sin and claiming to be saved. We know our brothers and sisters in Christ by their fruit not what they say. A lot of people in the comments look for scripture to justify their sins instead of believing Jesus can heal them and take their sins away. Instead they say it’s ok to sin and be saved. They will have to answer to God for that. Thank you for sharing. Those who deny themselves and follow Christ understand and those who don’t try to find ways to justify their sin. Jesus did not die so we can live in sin but to be saved from sin that leads to death!!!! Those who keep sinning did not die to self. The Bible tells us we die with Christ and rise with Christ when we come to Christ. How can you die to yourself but stay in sin???? Doesn’t make sense!! Because it’s FALSE!

I still have a hard time understanding how to give your heart and mind to Christ how do you do that and do you feel anything also do I need to be baptized before any do this?
@sarahpfeuffer1396 Жыл бұрын
@@mayrazuniga8421 hello! I am so happy to hear you learning what it means to be His! I would say, do you believe that Jesus is the son of God who came to earth and died for you in order that you could be saved? This is an actor of love from God! He loved you at your worst. So much that he gave the most valuable thing in the universe, his Son in order to give you everlasting life! He loves you and does not want you to be separated from him. (John 3:16) He sees you as so valuable that God the Father sent Jesus his son, the Word of God. He suffered and died in your place! This is incredible and thos should make us realize wow, how could this be that God gave so much to us when we did not deserve it? When we believe this, and say, Jesus, I accept you as my Lord and Savior! We humble ourselves and admit we cannot earn or deserve our salvation by our own works and acts of "goodness". When we see the true love of God we naturally want to love him back. We also receive the Holy Spirit! This is God living in us! He provides you comfort and counsel. This is Incredible! This can happen even before we get water baptized. I believe it's important to be water baptized as we are told to do do in the Bible. But we can even be completely saved before we are water baptized. See the story about the theif on the cross who Jesus said would be saved. (Luke 23:39-43) It's important we trust in Jesus to be our savior completely and not rely on ourselves to be good enough for salvation. When we truly see what God did for us, and who God is, we naturally want to love him and follow him. This makes us want to do good things. So we are transformed from the inside out. As humans in this life we are still often tempted to stray from God and do our own thing. We must remind ourselves that God is rightfully Lord of our lives. Not ourselves. So this is a posture of surrender to God. And when we worship him and remember who he is and what he did for us (by reading the Bible and worshipping him, praying, and being with other Christians) this helps us keep our focus on God and not ourselves. This is how I surrender my heart to God daily. I read the Bible every day, I go to church. I talk to God. I check my heart to see if I am submitting to him rather than doing my own thing. I want my life to completely belong to him because I love him, he is my Lord and Savior who loves each one of us more than we can imagine! Does this help you and answer your question?

Lukewarm in Rev 3 was about the love of money 16 So, because you are lukewarm-neither hot nor cold-I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. Other verses where someone might derive they can lose their salvation from are also about the love of money. So if it was possible to lose salvation it is due to the sin of greed / love of money however there is not a single case in the NT of someone losing their salvation. In the OT they could, and Saul did. Judas in the NT never believed to begin with. The Christians killed for selling the land, and withholding money from the church sound like they still kept their salvation.

Yes they will. Once someone believes in Jesus god promises to save them from the lake of fire, and give them eternal life. They are sealed until the day of redemption. All Christians inherit eternal life. The bible encourages believers to not deliberately sin, and to live a holy life, and follow all the principles in the bible though like the two great commandments, helping the least of these, not getting drunk etc but someone can still deliberately sin if they want or be luke warm, and they will not lose their salvation.

more BIBLICAL examples of LUKEWARM "not" going to heaven. the 4 types of ground.. 1) birds ate the seeds (a person who never found the Lord. 2) rocky ground.. person excited about God, but doesn't stick with it. 3) thorny ground. (THE scary ONE) because these people THINK their whole life that they themselves are Christians, but the cares of this life and decietfulness of riches choke the word... and doesn't produce fruit it says. As we know from John the baptist.. "every tree that makes not fruit is cut down and cast into the fire". SCARY stuff! 4) good ground (True Christian) marked by a real desire to honor the Lord and live for him. Jesus said about the future day "in that day they'll say unto me.. Lord Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name, in thy name cast out devils and in thy name done many wonderful works. But i will profess unto them I never knew you, depart from me ye that work iniquity" Scary is understatement. Imagine thinking your going to heaven.. then wake up after death in hell.. how horrible.. unimaginable.

Lukewarm isn’t someone sitting on the fence its people who outright don’t believe on the FINISHED work of Jesus or professing Christians who add works i.e. keeping the law to be saved. 1 John 3: 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. He became a man and lived a perfect life thus becoming the lamb slain before the foundation of the world. He was the propitiation for Gods wrath and the only substitute that would suffice.

Okay does “hooking up with 10 guys at a club” just mean she met up with?

This thinking is extremely judgmental and counter productive to the actual message she is sending by bravely telling her testimony, in full truth. It takes courage to not edit the ugliest parts of our lives out of our testimonies. If this is what you have to say after viewing her testimony, then I encourage you to search your own heart. I’m sure there are parts of your life or things that you’ve done that you would not want to be judged by.
