@@burgess_and_his_bike That sounds awful, been there myself not long ago. Hope the children are getting better soon. What do you think? Is he going for a gold at the Olympics and then the red jersey (with 5 ... or 6 stage wins) at the Vuelta?

@@mumblecake251 I think he’s being genuine when he says he won’t do the Vuelta. As for the Olympics, in his current form I think he could win anything but he’d have to do it by himself. Rogliç won’t work for him and no one else will now, particularly after the way he rode this tour.

@@burgess_and_his_bike I don't give him much chance of winning the Olympic road race. As you said, no one will work for him ... in the contrary, they will all be teaming up to deny him. Time trial however he's got a shot I think. Following that (purely hypothetically) if he had got a gold, could he resist the temptation to attempt history. Not only has the Grand Tour tripple never been done in one year ... but to add an Olympic medal into the mix would raise this to completely different heights. Totally hypothetical of course but assuming for a second that he gets a gold and still feels in good shape I recon he's going to give it a shot in Spain.
