I love Greta Van Fleet! they broke through with this song in 2017 and were immediately compared to Led Zepplin. since then, they've changed their sound to something more unique to them. check out "My way, soon," "Broken Bells," and "Heat Above." (oh, and everything from their breakthrough EP, "from the fires.")

To the youngins that want to not attribute what they're doing currently, please listen to early Led Zeppelin. Everything that both they and GVF are doing is based on Southern Blues. It's great that it's getting more attention in a new generation, I just wish more would really love music

@@stanstegall6359 Amen, there’s nothing wrong with having a similar sound when the sound is amazing. GVF is definitely their own thing and not the Led Zepp clones that people treat them as. They are amazing and let me know that rock isn’t dead yet. Great band.

The bass player was 17 (now 22) the guitar player was 21 (now 25) the vocalist was 21 (now 25) and the drummer was 18 (now 22). Greta van fleet was a family band made up of the 3 kiszka boys and a childhood friend as the drummer.

@@jackwatson441 Oh... Wagner has played on all GVF studio recordings. Though going back maybe five, probably even six + (?), years ago that had a different drummer. There is (was(?)) Video I'd seen on KZbin [must be best part of three years ago now] with the really young Kiszka Brothers (as GVF) with a different drummer. All Good Though - Sam Wagner is-by-far a superior Drummer🥁 ☘🇮🇪☘ .

The singer and guitarist are identical twins...the bassist/keyboardist is their brother who looks just like them and the drummer is a friend! They are like 17 here...this was their debut song. They are from a nice German town called Frankenmuth Michigan...I've been there!

Great choice! This video was quite popular here in Michigan, where GVF (and I) are from, 3-4 years ago. As you have probably heard in the comments here, 3 of them are brothers. The lead singer was much younger than you are now when this was recorded - all the more remarkable. I like and agree with the Led Zep comparisons but I’ve found it really pisses some people off. Nice job on this one. It was fun to watch and listen to. You are very genuine when you find that you like something.

This band is known for sounding remarkably similar to Led Zeppelin, especially lead vocalist Josh Kiszka who sounds exactly like Robert Plant. This has caused some criticism in that some say it's too similar and they aren't original. I'd simply argue that most bands start out sounding like other bands. They just need time develop their own sound and they indeed are changing their sound. They are a new band that came out in the past few years so their popularity is pretty high at the moment.

Came from about 45 minutes away from me in Frankenmuth Mi. If you have ever seen a billboard on the Highway advertising "Bronners" Christmas Wonderland(theres a ton of them all over the US)..Frankenmuth is a "German" town in Michigan that has ALOT of tourism!!!

I would get something in the Fender Tone Master series 100watt-200watt($900-1100 dollars) plenty of range, tone, volume but the awesome thing is there is a Output Selector that let's you say output only 1 watt of volume (instead of wall cracking, police summoning 200watts) but when you crank up the volume you have that "overdriven" sound that's to die for without the police or your neighbors hating you. I've played the 1k 2x12 200watt version and 1x12 100watt and LOVED them am saving now for 2x12 version incredible incredible sound and value

I know I'm probably the only person to ever request a song by Scottish band Big Country but if you have the time even on your own you should give the song In A Big Country a listen. My fave band ever. Relatively unknown here in North America. You will not regret listening. Trust me. Unique bagpipelike guitar. Fantastic song. Give it a try.

Until you can play it, you couls mount the guitar on the wall behind you. GVF is from Frankenmuth, Michigan which is home to the largest year round Christmas store. It's unbelievable. Frankenmuth is also known for the fried chicken at the restaurants, fudge, Bavarian style foods and ambiance, and shopping in general. ~Be Blessed
