To the poster, have you met up with someone and just take a few hours on learning the mechanics? What I did on fight night was get people to practice and we would just spam each other with the most common spam then learn the counters and practice them. For example we'd do nothing put push straight each other and take notes as to what worked as a counter, then we'd keep practicing it until we mastered not falling victim to that BS. I've done huge amount of testing like that in the past. Making lists of each counter for each punch, what happens if you only block for 5 rounds, learning the most effective combos etc. I posted some of my findings on youtube with no intention of getting many views or starting a real channel but some of those videos get 20k-40k views when I had only a handful of subs. I don't post anymore because I don't have time for youtube and it's not something I'm interested in but it will bring you a lot of views and really help your channel. For example if you search for "Fight Night Champion Push Straight Spam" or "Fight Night Champion Chicken Wing Spam" my stuff will come up. Another guy LX Sniper has some of those instructional videos too, they do really good for views and new subs.

I fought a guy yesterday with a Roy who fought just like this guy. HIs name was rOxy-30mg or some shit. Fought at a much higher pace though. He was on top of me from the opening bell. I had Jacobs and didnt go down but lost in a one sided decision. I won 2 rounds. I personally think Roy is a bit of a cheat code because that right body hook is ridiculously op. You can neutralize it by moving away but then you run into lead uppercuts and left hooks at insane speeds. Ive seen a huge jump in right hook body spamming Roys over the last week. Also the tracking is bad against Roy.

Everyone is using Roy now because of his block and the two punches you mentioned. His block creates a forcefield around him that just makes you miss everything. I use Danny Jacobs most of the time, and I sit around 62% accuracy with my jabs. When I fight Roy it's 35-40% because you just cannot hit him when he's in his guard. Add that to the fact that his punches mini stun you every other punch. Roy is broken as hell right now. On PC, 3 of the top 10 people on the leaderboard solely play Roy, and they don't box. They just guard, run, wait for you to open, and then hit you with a flurry because you can't respond due to the mini stuns.

So a flash ko outta nowhere is mindless...Plus the majority of people i played just do "power body shots" and the stamina shouldn't deplete heavily from that. Real talk, it’s not really that he’s slow, it’s just being the fighter on the right side makes your fighter feel extremely slow, only way to get out of that is to go loose movement. It also feels like your arms are shorter on the right side

Roy's block is extremely broken right now. He protects his head and body at the same time, and the jab doesn't get through any of it. The other Philly shell fighters can get touched, but Roy just has this forcefield around him that makes you miss all of your shots. All of these Roys in ranked just hold block and sit on the back foot. They're in loose movement for the extra 25% damage, and they just wait for you to throw a shot. Then they hit you with that right body hook repeatedly and the lead uppercut to the head. These dudes are solely playing for the mini stuns, and if they don't get it, they just hop back. Fighting Roy in this patch has been the most boring gameplay possible.
