A tidbit of info for you: In an interview Ren said that Hi Ren was a one take, the third take they did. They didn't have permission to be in the basement they were in, and they had 4 cameras and two mics. As they were finishing the second take, the building manager walked in and asked them to leave. They begged for another 30 minutes and that was the take they used. However, the very end part when he turns from putting down the guitar and starts talking is a separate take. They were allowed to go back when the building manager helped them submit the correct paperwork. Post production was them just taking footage from the various cameras they had set up to auto record. I have no idea why, but when Ren started to sing and you said "you have a beautiful voice" I cried. Something in your reaction really got to me. It was one of the most authentic and heart-felt remarks I have seen from anyone who has reacted to this song. Peace

Loved how captivated you were. Ren is just a genius. Thanks for a great reaction. 👍❤ A few info about Ren: Ren Eryn Gill was born and grew up in Wales in 1990. Later he moved to Brighton where he did a lot of busking. He studied music performance at Bath Spa University. In 2009 he became seriously ill and had difficulty attending lectures. In 2010, he was signed to Sony Records. However, as his health continued to deteriorate, he had to terminate the contract. Ren was initially misdiagnosed with depression, bipolar disorder and chronic fatigue syndrome, which led to him suffering from psychosis. It was not until seven years later that a doctor in Belgium finally diagnosed him with autoimmunity and Lyme disease, which led to brain, organ and joint damage as well as PTSD. After stem cell therapy in the United States, his health improved considerably. However, he continues to suffer greatly from his illnesses. For over a year now he is undergoing treatment in Canada. Ren is a multi-instrumentalist and producer. He sings, raps and writes his songs, lyrics and video scripts himself. Today he is an independent artist. In October 2023, his album "Sick Boi" was number one in the British album charts.

Ren is a very prolific singer, musician, and producer. He swings back and forth between poignant tales and straight-up bangers. For the former, check out the Jenny & Screech Trilogy, Suic*de, and Chalk Outlines. As much as I enjoyed those, I prefer the bangers, which are all on my regular playlist rotation - Down on the Beat, Losing It (FISHER Rap Version), What You Want, Power, and Animal Flow.

That God doesn't put us through anything we can't handle. And she's been put through things that I can't even imagine. Not to mention what I've put her through myself. Being selfish as i was. And it's remarkable she is as kind and giving as she has been. Given what she's been through. I told her that if she ended up becoming selfish and bitter, then not only did she lose out. But so does everyone around her. They would lose someone special. Don't ever change who you are. Only work on becoming the best version of yourself that this world will allow.
