I've always struggled for flatties around the weed beds in the Passage too. I'm sure it's loaded with them, but I always resort back to the sand banks before to long.

Nice Vid mate, love me some glide bait action. Instead of heavy trebles you should try some sticky weights, I bought a few floating/suspending MMD Whiting glides on clearance a few months ago(60% off lol). I used the Atomic ones and they work well, took about 2.5g to slow sink.

Thanks mate! I don’t know how the sticky weights would go actually sticking to the soft plastic but I’ll give it a try 🙏🏼 I bought some nail weights to try too so should be able to come up with something haha

Yer not for me that’s for sure 😂 I believe there if a specific way to dispatch them that gets rid of the ammonia smell, it’s actually a defence mechanism for them and the leech it out of their skin when they feel threatened

@@fishinjosh I have heard docking there tail and letting them bleed out that way using there own heart to pump all the blood out is meant to be a massive improvement. Also soaking the fillets in milk overnight but I have never bothered as I don’t eat seafood so never done it lol crazy ass fisho that doesn’t eat the stuff weird I know
