@hi me, all South Korean men have to serve a mandatory military service for two years there are some exceptions like Sports figures and Olympic winners etc. but if you are a K-pop idol or a regular guy that works in the office you’ve got to do it there are some other exceptions if you want to continue your schooling by earning a degree you can postpone it but between the ages of 18 and 35 you have to serve and we will see Suho again in a couple of years with EXO. Right now Suho’s EXO Brothers: D.O. and a Xuimin are serving.😢💕✌️

MVs are indeed connnected to each other since their debut. :) I also read that they release their songs when there is a special event in like constellation or outerspace (?). It will help if you will read theories about it. The whole EXO storyline is amazing!

I discovered your channel a few days ago with your EXO reactions and I'm really enjoying them! Lol, Kai doesn't have a robotic arm; he's just resting his arm on the handles of the motorcycle. Chen and Baekhyun are the two vocalists you pointed out the most. Chen has that high note in the bridge and continues to be in the forefront when the chorus comes back in (with Sehun's vocals underneath), and then it switches to Baekhyun continuing the next part with Chanyeol's vocals layered under. You have definitely NOT run out of hits or songs! There are quite a number of albums plus subunit, solo, and collaboration work that EXO members are frequently a part of. I know you were probably just kidding as in _how can something top this, now_ but still, there's a lot to listen to and experience. I'm looking forward to the next video :)

Here is some information about EXO that I hope will help answer most of your questions. EXO's concept and storyline is kind of complicated, so in order to understand what is happening in their MVs you need to understand their origin story. EXO's MVs are kind of like a movie -- its a movie that has been going on for the past 8 years and it has no sign of coming to an end any time soon. All of EXO's MVs and storylines from everything EXO has ever been involved in are connected and it all tells a little more of EXO's story. And not only that, but EXO aren't even human, so that throws an even more complicated concept into the mix. LOL But to help you begin to understand why we say its hard to explain things to you ... here is some information about EXO. To truly understand EXO you need to understand that EXO debuted in 2012. "Mama" is EXO's debut song and MV and It is how EXO was introduced to the world and it explains the group's concept. So to really understand EXO you need to start from the very beginning and watch both of their "Mama" MVs. From day one, EXO's concept is that they are aliens from planet EXO and they came to Earth with superpowers to protect the Tree of Life from the Red Forces. (Red in EXO's MVs represents the Red Force.) Each of the members has a superpower that is unique to them and almost every MV will have at least one, if not all of them, using their powers. Exo, as in exoskeleton, means "outer," so as a member of EXO they are outside the ordinary.The group's concept comes from the real term exoplanet, which is a term that is used for a planet that is outside our solar system, so their name was chosen to represent the fact that they are stars that are "out of this world" when it comes to their talents. EXO's concept is also connected to real life planetary and solar events so many of EXO's comebacks and new song releases for the main group of EXO are connected to when eclipses and other planetary phenomenons take place. For example, their comeback for their "War album and Powe" album coincided with when we had a solar eclipse, etc. SM Entertainment has all of EXO's release dates and concepts planned out for years in advance, and it all has something to do with real celestial events that are predicted to take place. So nothing is ever random or done without a specific purpose, done to the most minute detail. So what you saw in the "Obsession" MV was that EXO's doppelgangers were actually their alter ego clones and they were using their superpowers, such as Chanyeol with his fire power, Sehun uses his wind power to deflect the arrows and Suho controls water in the room with all the pictures of water, etc. to fight their other selves. You see the planet on fire in the end of the MV because it's supposed to show how the world is coming to an end as EXO (the good guys in all black) and X-EXO (the evil ones in the colorful outfits with crazy hair and makeup) battle for control, etc. You have seen SuperM's "Jopping" MV, right? Well if you remember what Baekhyun and Kai were wearing in that MV, you will noticed that those outfits are very similar to the black outfits that Baekhyun and Kai are wearing in "Obsession." Kei is even wearing the same backpack parachute in both MVs. Which seems to be SM's way of making sure we see the connection between those MVs. So because the members in black are supposed to be the EXO members who are the good guys, it seems to also indicate that the members who are in SuperM are the EXO members and not their X-EXO clones. So it is thought that, as part of SuperM's storyline, EXO has gathered the best of the best of SM's groups to help them battle the Red Force and maybe eventually take down X-EXO. Just like how the Marvel Avengers come together as individual superheros with their own storylines to create the Avengers and to fight evil, it is thought that SuperM is coming together to create the ultimate super group to help EXO fight the evil and corruption inflicted on humanity by the Red Force. Now you also need to know that In the beginning there was 12 members and they were split up into 2 groups EXO-K and EXO-M. EXO-K sang and performed their songs in Korean and EXO-M sang and performed those same songs in Mandarin Chinese. EXO-K had 6 Korean members and EXO-M had 4 Chinese members and 2 Korean members. So to really understand their full origin story you have to watch both the K and the M version of "Mama." However, since then 3 of the 4 Chinese members have left the group (short answer, to focus on their solo work back in China) but there is still one Chinese member left, Lay. (Any performances or MVs you watch that took place prior to May 2014 you will see all 12 of the members. Kris and Luhan left in 2014 and Tao left in 2015.) However, now, because they no longer have enough Chinese members they no longer do separate promotions, but they still produce most of their MVs and main songs in both Korean and Mandarin, they just now promote all as one big group, EXO with 9 members. However, in the "Obsession" MV there are only 6 members because 2 of the members are on hiatus right now as they serve in the military; and due to some political issues between the Korean and Chinese government, Lay -- their Chinese member -- is unable to participate in activities with the group because of the company's Korean affiliation. Not only does EXO have amazing MVs, but it's almost always double because most of the time when they have a Korean version they also will have a Mandarin version, so it means they have to shoot two separate videos.Their fandom name is EXO-L because L falls right between K and M and it stands for Love. 😍Get it? EXO-K, EXO-L, EXO-M (K-L-M in the alphabet) Once you have seen "Mama" and start to understand EXO's backstory, if you watch any of their other MVs, it should make more sense to you if you keep in mind all the details about them being aliens with superpowers and how they are on a mission, etc. For example, we originally thought their "Power" MV was all about how the Red Forces stole EXO's powers and they had to fight the robot, which was under the Red Forces control, to get their powers back. And once they got their powers back they were then sent to Earth. However, now that we have "Obsession's" piece of the story, we think "Power" is about how X-EXO are being trained by the Red Force and they have been sent to Earth to infiltrate humanity and spread their evil agenda. And the EXO members have been sent to try and stop them. The one thing you have to keep in mind with all of EXO's MVs, and I really mean all of them -- including EXO-CBX MVs, and several of Lay's solo MVs, as well as Baekhyun's solo debut MV for "UN Village" and his album City Lights; and Suho's recent solo debut MV "Let's Love" and album; and probably even EXO-SC and Chen's solo work as well. And, because Baekhyun and Kai are involved, even SuperM's storyline -- is that they are all connected and they all tell a little more of EXO's story and why they are on Earth, etc. Unfortunately, to make it even more difficult to understand, each part of the story is not necessarily in chronological order, so we as EXO-L have to become detectives and analyze every aspect of all of their teasers, MVs, song lyrics, albums, choreography, concert VCRs and even live performances and piece it all together to understand the story behind it all. To help you pinpoint the powers being used in their MVs and live performances here is a list of the members and what their special power is. EXO-K 💦 Suho (Kim JunMyeo) is the leader of the group and he is a lead vocalist -- his power is the ability to control water (Suho in Korean means guardian, as in the guardian of EXO. Cool reaction 😁 I’d recommend listening to the full album of ‘Obsession’ (the album has the same title) on your own or as a reaction as it’s really good and one of their best albums to date. Exo has one of the best discographies in kpop and sometimes their bsides are even better than their title tracks (the songs that have an mv) so some songs that I’d recommend listening to (that don’t have an mv) are: forever, bad dream, white noise, thunder, Lady Luck, jekyll (to name a few)
