Lets be honest, we were all waiting for Meg's reaction to Vader. I love how its not a fight but running for survival. I really liked the game and enjoyed the characters. Can't wait for Jedi Survivor it's even better. My favorite comment when Vader showed up was from Kwingsletsplays, he whispers "he eats Jedi for breakfast" and then tries to run but gets grabbed. While his wife is freaking out.

“You would be wise to surrender.” “Yeah… probably.” That moment says so much about Cal as a character, it truly does. There’s facing insurmountable odds and then there’s… this. What a moment. And just to foster debate - Trilla or Merrin? I gotta admit, I love them both and their arcs from antagonistic to where they end up are fantastic. Small note - two things happen between Fallen Order and Survivor. The comic series Dark Temple which is both prequel and concurrent to this story and the book Battle Scars. Neither are required for Survivor, but just some additional fun stuff to enjoy. But man… isn’t this fun? Such a good game, an absolutely fantastic story and characters we love to add to the larger tapestry.

This final act of the game is so good! Seeing Trilla being pulled back from the Dark Side only for the myth, the legend, the man.. Darth Vader to make yet another awe inspiring entrance. Love this game so much and can't wait for you to experience Cal's second chapter in Survivor!

This game meant a lot to me. I am very glad to see you get just as invested and emotional at the exact parts that I did. This isn't a story about some badass jedi or some hollow action game. It's a story about traumatized people coming together to move beyond their pasts and begin to heal. Cal in the beginning is not in a good place. He is scared and repressed and cannot be honest to himself because of the overwhelming oppression of the empire. Seeing him learn to accept himself and confront his past with Cere and Merrin made me cry so much to be honest. The ending with Cal acknowledging the mistakes of the jedi order and refusing to drag more innocents into the cycle of trauma the empire creates is SO powerful.

the fact that they had the theme of "Trust only in the force" since the initial teaser trailer from this game and it goes all the way through. That's one of the main reasons I love this game's story, consistent theme. Fallen Order is one of my favourite Star Wars media, alongside Knights of the Old Republic and Clone Wars tv show.

@@Tommyboi01 Think you're confusing different actors. The whole reason he was even hired in the first place was because he did the "Chad Vader" character in a web series for a bit. He got popular and then made the jump to officially being cast as him in Lucasfilm/Lucasarts stuff. He never played Vader officially until Empire at War, but even that was a minimal role. Force Unleashed was his first main role as Vader, and from them on started appearing all over as him.

30:03 to 30:40 gave me chills and happy-tears. When the usage of OG music like that is so rare, it feels great when it's actually used again. Vader in this is truly menacing, and the Anakin's Dark Deeds theme played too. The force choking comments were too funny. 😂

I think a red lightsaber is powered by a kyber crystal corrupted by the dark side; however, it isn’t broken, as it is possible purify the crystal again. Just takes time.

Inquisitor weapons and armor are mass produced. She doesn't need an attuned crystal since the Empire has been harvesting Kyber and artificially making it for lightsabers. . Darth Vader's armor and body was created on Coruscant five years before this takes place. He was Darth vader before he even got it. The Fortress was only built a few years ago. Nur is a moon of Mustafar where Darth Vader was initially defeated. His castle on Mustafar was also just built at this point.

not sure if it was explained but the "Avenge us" wasn't for cere or for the inquisitors. Not entirely. It was for all the jedi and padawan slain. In her final moments she was once again on the light side, that is why vader killed her, that is why she said "I have carried this hate for you" because she was about to surrender to the light once again, much like vader does in the end of his life.

This game... I love this game, it is one of my favorite Star Wars games overall, at least storywise :) As for the Darth Vader cameo, I wasn't spoiled but as I went deeper into the fortress it started to seem likely, but no expectation was as great as actually hearin him breathing and seeing him, even for a brief moment, it is amazing!

I said it before that this maybe a game but it is one of my favorite "movies" in all of Star Wars! You may have forgotten what Cere said when she confessed she said "they tourchered me and I fought but then this black shadow came. He was worse than anything I ever imagined". So in this video when Cere said "it's him!" it was confirmation that Darth Vader was the 1 who tourchered Cere and turned Trilla to the Dark Side. In fact this is a bit a speculation but Trilla mentioned in the battle on Bogono that they both had pride so she wouldn't admit it but fear of Darth Vader was probably what was really motivating her to do all this. Also back on Illum we saw that the Empire was mining Kyber Crystals so they can make as many Lightsabers as they need. I would also recomend that you go back to different planets and talk to Merrin there she offers unique perspectives. Though I love how one of those unique perspectives was a huge part of the ending. Merrin was a fresh new point of view as she helpped us see how dangerous it would be to use that holocron. There is so much more I want to say but I guess it has gone on too long already just know I am really greatful getting to see someone else experinece this again for the 1st time! I plan on playing Jedi Survivor eventually but it will probably be a long time before I get the chance and even longer before I am able to see your playthrough when you do it but still thank you!

Early in the video, so not sure if this gets discussed later, but I believe Cere's and Cal's intention wasn't to force any kids to join or even take any away from parents. I think they would have looked for the children on the list and find any that were in bad shape, homeless, abused, already hunted by the empire for other reasons, that kind of thing. In that case, caring for them and teaching them the ways of the force would be a kindness any other times. Until they realize and come to terms with the fact that being a Jedi in the imperial age means a death sentence. Then the implications of recruiting the kids takes on a different shape.

They did wanna use it to rebuild their own jedi order and possibly defeat the empire with it. I mean, chances are the empire never would've found the holocron if cere and cal didnt go search for it. They set the empire on this path Also yes I do think should and would be a choice from the children as well as their parents if they wanna go train with them. But the real problem is that, if they can find those younglings, so can the empire. The younglings could reject the offer, then this get killed or taken anyway

Seeing Cal get Knighted, is beautiful. Only the second time in current canon we see a Jedi being Knighted, and both times its Jedi Purge surivors. Great game, though Vaders look in this, is by far his worst. Looks like he's been eating too many cheeseburgers. Also the summation on him is wrong "the most powerful Sith in the galaxy" - nope that would be Sidious.
