I prefer the texture of cloth, I feel like I can’t get a deep scrub with my hands sometimes, especially on my shoulders. I wash ours in the house twice a week, and I have a rotation of linens just like bedding, towels, etc

I am a member of the “certain people” group (lol) and I use wash clothes mostly. It is recommended that loofahs are washed once a week. Unless you are using a different loofah everyday, I think that would hold more bacteria. I use loofahs for exfoliating purposes, but I follow it up with wash clothes. Plus, I refer bar soap so wash cloths are better. Lets not start that debate about bar vs liquid soap. Lol!!!! I was raised you use more than one wash cloth. Always one separate for your face, neck, and behind the ears. Wash behind the ears last though. Some people use up to 3. Face, extremities, and “no no” areas. Two will usually do it, if you wash the “no no” areas last. My mom only used white wash clothes. She would see “So y’all can see if you’re still dirty.” When I got older and left home, she explained it was because she would bleach them. If there were any colored wash clothes that she was gifted with, they all ended up with bleach stains. I remember her words NEVER REUSE WITHOUT BLEACHING. IF YOU CAN’T BLEACH THEM YOU MIGHT AS WELL THROW THEM AWAY.” She is dramatic like that. Just like if you take a bath, you take a quick shower first so get all the extra nastiness off of you. So you won’t be soaking in your nastiness. Then you a little put bleach or vinegar in your bath water with some epsom salts. My mom had three children and a husband so she washed clothes every single day. When people let the wash cloth dry out it is not supposed to be for reusing. It’s supposed to be to be able to place in the hamper without it being wet and causing mildew. Same thing with towels, you don’t put a wet towel in a hamper. Use it once, let it draw out, then put it in a hamper. No I am not judgmental of someone who doesn’t use wash clothes. How someone else cleans their body has nothing to do with me. The only other person I am concerned about is my husband for obvious reason. Lol!!!! He are all from different places, different upbringings. As long as you’re clean, your clean no matter how you got there. Who thought I would be going into this much detail and washing with wash cloths on a dog training channel. Gotta love it. 💛💛💛💛

I love how descriptive this response is. As someone who just uses their hands, there’s no one who can make me believe I’m infinitely less clean than if I used a wash cloth - I feel like all those years would have caught on by now and I’d be walking around smelling trashy - that’s why I wonder why some of us really deem it to be a necessity

That was crazy thorough. I never got into it. But after a few years of being a commercial diver I went from diving in water towers / tap water storage tanks….To just random inland 40 feet max depth(shallow) creeks and rivers building coffer dams….even with a #1 marine buzz cut . Seeing the hotel white washcloths turn black using 4 made me aware that if even doing normal carpentry or somewhat dirty work the washcloth is essential

@@ericandcaprithepup how do you exfoliate/remove the dead skin from your body. I’m curious to know how it works just using your hands. Do you scratch your skin to exfoliate???? How do you use your hand to clean your “no no” areas???? Especially the backside???? How do you get into those nooks and crannies???? No judgement, I’m genuinely interested and curious. Your fit like me do you don’t have any folds, but I wonder how people would get into their folds with just their hands. I use a q-tip to clean inside of my belly button, are hands used there as well. I’m so intrigued. I love differences. I’m not judging in anyway, I really would like to know. 💛💛💛💛

@@stephenmugler8412 yes I live on a farm in South GA. We have the legendary GA red clay on our property. Even if I am not doing anything strenuous, just the dust blowing in the area gets on me. You can literally see the orange on my wash clothes. Not using a wash cloth is so foreign to me. I love that we are all so different. I tell people if you really think you are clean, use a white wash cloth, it will tell you the truth. Lol!!!! 💛💛💛💛

My pup loves to run with my washcloths. Once he believes it is his, he rubs himself all over the cloth in triumph. If i try to use one on him, oh no, Mama, he can do it himself.

I use those african sponges (really a net). I'm butter soft, the exfoliation is top tier and NOT for the faint of heart. I use a washcloth to dry my face.

Wash cloths are for my face. Hot water and open my pores. I have Ghanaian netting (like a loofah but loose). That exfoliates all my body. And because it’s netting, it doesn’t mood/dirty up. And it dries quick.

😊You wash all of your body from top to bottom, with your hind parts being last, Then you throw it in the washer. It's not hard. Wash cloths are more sanitary and cost effective than loofas. It exfoliates enough to clean and remove dead skin, while being gentle enough for sensitive skin. What is wrong with you guys?🤷🏾♀️
@ericandcaprithepup9 күн бұрын
But how is just doing that with your hands and soap less infinitely effective?
@deebrown716019 күн бұрын
I have tons of them, one time use only. Use two every time one for face one for body and in the laundry it goes.

How do you clean dishes a table top mirrors cars you need a agitator to remove the dirt
@ericandcaprithepup9 күн бұрын
But you can technically wash dishes with your hand and they will be just as squeaky - it’s when you leave the dishes in the sink today and try to wash them in 2 days that you encounter problems -

Start with the cleanest parts and go on from there. Fresh one each shower.

Can we just start normalizing putting soap in our hands and rubbing it on our bodies. Get rid of washcloths and loofahs all together. They're all kind of gross to me.
@mizz984120 күн бұрын
Ummm - No. Drop chocolate on your wooden floors with cracks in it and just use your hand and soap to get it up. Good luck with that... 😮

Unfortunately, my skin needs the scrub with a washcloth.
