Thank you so much for posting this. It really helped me a lot and even helped also the ground personnel in Cebu to understand about the exemption rule of transit visa. I was able to fly to Fiji via Brisbane without transit visa as long as you are on the connecting flight and you will be in Australia less than 8 hours.

case to case basis po tlaga ang experience sa IO. ako kaalis ko lng nun MAY25 2023, un immigration officer isa lng tinanong skin pag ka abot ko ng passport,visa and roundtrip ticket 🎫, ang question nya ay " do you have relatives in Australia? then i replied: none, just to reunite with my partner only. then sabi skin harap sa camera sabay stamp sa passport ko 😊 yun na. please make sure you have complete documents , if tourist and sponsor by partner or family make sure you have PASSPORT, VISA, TICKET,CFO AOS, BANK STATEMENT, TRAVEL INSURANCE, BIRTH CERTIFICATE and COPY OF BIO PAGE NG SPONSOR. karamihan ng na offload ay pupunta sa Dubai although may visit visa madami kasing cases na front ang visit or tourist then mag hahanap work let's admit it some are doing that. so if ur going to Dubai make sure ur answer are short and clear with ur purpose. mostly ma offload if ur traveling to Thailand, Vietnam, hongkong, Singapore, Malaysia dahil sa case ng human trafficking. di nman lahat ng immigration officer madami hinahanap yun iba as in wala nag supporting documents na hinahanap. sana makaalis po lahat ng gustong mag tourist and good luck po❤ have a safe trip

Thanks for sharing your tips and experience. In my case, I have everything then except AU TRANSIT VISA and this was my first flight to NZ to visit my fiancée for a month back in August 2018. I learned from this experience and ever since I never had issues transiting to AU. 😊 I’m sharing this experience so none of our kabayan can experience what I’ve been through. @@ellasaguin367 if it didn’t state on you’re ticket you have to self transfer in AU then you don’t need transit visa as I explained in my video.

We have a transit in Sydney. But its just 2 hours layover at same terminal. Our whole flight is with SG airlines and Virgin which is tied up with SG airlines. Our baggages are going to come directly to NZ. Do we still need a transit visa in Aus?

If your baggage’s are connecting then you won’t need transit visa. You will only need transit visa if you’re gonna clear through immigration and manually drop your bags for the next flight. Hope that helps. 😊

@@nestearubia3732 usually may nka lagay po yan if need niyo po mag self transfer. Best to contact nlng po your airlines directly or call customer service po ng travel agency/flight company na napakbookan niyo ng ticket to be sure po. Free lng nman po ang transit visa if need niyo po.

For australia transit visa sub class 771, how is the “must not enter after” date is calculated? Or in other words what is the validity of the australia transit visa from the date of issue within which I have to make use of the visa? I am not asking about the length of stay.

The validity of the visa will be case by case, it’s usually valid for 3 months from the date of grant for single entry or in other cases it can be valid for a year under multiple entry.

Hi po maam NZ OFW po ako, need po ba talaga ang biometrics sa transit visa? kase nakafillup na po ako ng form online kaso may biometrics. ang problema po nasa mainland yung opisina at dito ako sa Island. Then, 14 days lang yung validity ng application for transit visa. Paano po yan maam? Ano po dapat gawin? salamat po.
