Levi Kitchen opens up about training at the GOAT Farm every single day whilst he was riding for Star Racing Yamaha.
We are back for another episode of the podcast and my guest today is none other than Levi Kitchen. Levi is currently in the middle of his breakout season as a professional Motocross and Supercross rider. He narrowly missed out on this years 250 West Coast title in a decided at Salt Lake and is now in the thick of the AMA Motocross Championship against longtime rival Haiden Degan.
On this episode of the podcast we talk about his love of all things fishing, his unique upbringing by typical motocross standards, his life in Washington, taking racing seriously, his early years at Star Yamaha, leaving for Pro Circuit Kawasaki, we talk about money in the sport and his golf swing.

LK47 Class act , met him at the thunder valley 2022 event, I am local there , 8 miles from the track so I work the event . During practice .. he went down after the monster jump down to the bottom where you make that left around the trees and set up for the next big archway jump, the ruts were 2 feet deep. The bike ,, on top of him , totally helpless, the flagger said he can’t help, I threw down my skill saw , ran over and grabbed the left grip and lifted his bike up , he got up like a Jack in the box , said to me “thank you sir “ took off after throwing his APdesigns visor , I grabbed the visor the saw and continued, he won his first moto that day , 2024 supercross @ mile high , I found him in the pits , he signed the visor, stating “ he remembered that day”. I worked the thunder valley 2024 and was trackside , doing set up , never had a chance to find him, but got a selfie with 38 the 250 leader , another classy kid , and all around from what I saw , all the riders are very cool, and if the timing is right when they are relaxed, super respectful! I love this shit

Was really bummed levi couldn't come up with the sx title this year, but that aside, it was an absolutely breakout season for him. He seemed way happier throughout the season and generally more energetic, yet patient with how a day would go. Always a pleasure to hear from these guys, just in a one on one conversation with you Gypsy!

I think Levi over performed in SX. Lets not forget that title was his had Hammaker not taken him out. Levi was the most consistent. Hopefully he grabs it next year!

I was gutted and couldn’t understand why he left star but hearing this is really made my day and happy for him man just the pressure that is off his back now and how he can concentrate being healthy for the weekends! Unless deegan blow his engine or has a bad crash it going to be a tough one. Thunder valley was a bad track for him last year. Minus south wick and I think bud creek he did well at the remaining tracks. Not a stretch to say he has a few more overall wins by the end of this and he already is 23 up on second. I really hope we get more battles like moto 1 though. That was a crazy good race.

​@@sawtoothscream1521100%, Deegan has the pace to comfortably run top 2/3 this year, every race its looking like. Hes smarter, stronger and faster this year. Vialle, Kitchen or Hymas needs to win the next round, they can't afford to drop anymore points or it's going to get to the point where they will all have to ride over their head just to try and get back into this championship. Haiden was flying at Budd's Creek last year until that red flag. Had gapped the field by quite a bit before the half way stage. Just hoping they all stay healthy and we get a good battle for the season

I wasn't surprised at all he did well at SX but last year MX performance didn't have me thinking he would be the top dog in this class. Granted he did great at pala and decent at hangtown.
