Excellent video i commend you on torqueing everything, a little tip i always put a little copper grease on all suspension components bolts etc its a help for the next time ,has that car got a 2.0d engine, i have to fix accident damage on my sons e91 2.0d i will be removing engine and gearbox any tips on doing some work on the engine when it is out its already had reconditioned turbo and injectors, do u recommend timing chain replacement and replacement of crank bearings whilst engine is out ,great videos keep up the great work, happy new year to you and your family

Happy New Year! If the engine is out, I would replace the timing chain. Bearings are not a common problem on n47 as far as I am aware, but if it’s a higher mileage car it’s worth checking it al least. N57 3.0d has problems with main bearings(please see the first 3 videos on my channel) con rod bearings looked like new, whilst main bearing badly damaged.
