Delhi has insanely good MAA with attack speed (tower of victory) and attack damage (honed blades) in addition to ability to sprint to surround the kings. I found them much more effective than elephants (plus gold cost 1 tower elephant is 30 [thirty] maa, as long as you can get those 70+ farms going you're fine) one university is 400 wood, which is cheaper than what other civs have to pay for their upgrades. You had 2k wood when dropping your first uni, just drop 2 more and get all those research going at the same time

Great game drongo!! If played properly I think delhi is amongst the strongest FFA civs! You just needed to optimise a little to get all your upgrades faster! Here's some tips: 1) you can put a scholar in your archery range/ stables/ barracks to straight up half the time for your key upgrades like howdas, elite knights, e.t.c getting them A LOT faster, ( both the regular mosque wifi and efficient production reductions stack ! ) you had 13 scholars garrisoned, 2-3 more in those production buildings could've made a considerable difference to your upgrade timings 2) delhi upgrades are all free, so in the midgame to mid lategame you could have 4 blacksmiths where you had 2 and 3-4 madrassas ( universities) where you had just one, each individual upgrade is longer, but getting them all at the same time creates a powerful timing, you can easily have every single upgrade in the game bar none before 25 minutes if you play for it ! 3) friendly reminder, your first madrassa spawns 3 scholars outside it, could've helped you if you dropped a madrassa instead of mosques when you were low on resources, madrassa would've garrisoned all of your scholars in one building too and also provides mosque wifi ! Once again loved seeing you play delhi as a Delhi main, and ik you're an optimiser at heart drongo, so hoping to see more Delhi FFA games in the future with more optimised build plans !

I think the second you killed Kiyo I would've taken over his trading route-made 5 markets in the corner and get some huge trade going down to some docks. The elephants were so gold heavy, I was stressed watching you because I knew you didn't have the econ to sustain it 😅. Was a fun match to watch! You may want to build Keeps insteads of TCs to spam vils. Also, looking at army graphs, looks like green's attempt to snipe English king failed completely and purple was a much stronger enemy at that point, so killing green was way too premature in aftermath.

Yesterday I played against the Delhi Sultanate in FFA, it took about 2 minutes to get to my king through 2 layers of wall and about 100 knights and 1 castle and Berkshire Palace. I had 350 pop but it didn't matter.

Delhi worst enemy super slow upgrade So Create 2 blacksmith 2 universities lits of stable barracks Early super aggressive once your pops exceed the enemies hold not to create any elephants yet until imperial age While doing turtling and booming I thin you got to make tons of acholar. Early after age up at least 3 of them garris9ned in the mosque Delhi had some sort of wifi of their mosques so the research of nearby mosque despite being empty still get influence of garrisoned mosques. Put as.manybsoldiers tondefend when you decided tongo to imperial.

The problem with delhi is that they do not have a way to get infinite gold easily and they are not as good at rushing castle as hre. I would like scholars to get the Japan treatment and generate gold, maybe while in a full mosque or uni

No blacksmith till imp, single universit, constantly CONSTANTLY sending elephants to their deaths into spears and horseman without a single infantry unit, making the perfect combination that is absolutely countered by spears and handcannons, refusing to make one of the best man at arm in game and instead wasting all gold on stupid tower elephants AGAINST SPEARS, 0 mangoneld till it was too late. This game was so utterly painful to watch. But the spirngald snipe was nice
