I actually used to love the Chiefs. It's always very inspiring to see an underdog, lead by a generational talent in Pat Mahomes, to a success. But over the years, they've been doing some obnoxious things, and every time I hear a story of them in the media, it's almost ALWAYS Travis Kelce involved in these shenanigans. After since the Taylor Swift saga began, Kelce's been getting more and more obnoxious, and it's showing. At this point, I honestly think this guy thinks he's the king of the world. It's sad what a fame and success does to a mofo. It's almost Kanye-esque.

What Kelce did was wrong and disrespectful. Having said that, Coach Reid is a coach and teacher and like most good leaders he handles this stuff in-house. In most cases as a Navy officer, I handled subordinate issues in-house unless, like in one instance it simply had to go “up the chain”, which resulted in a general court martial and subsequent time in Leavenworth. This was my same philosophy as a teacher for 40+ years. I dealt with my students MY WAY, and though sometimes severely by various means, I didn’t like so many teachers, “go running to mama/principal”

@chetsenior7253 How dare you! Narrow military mindset? WTF are you talking about. How long did YOU serve? What branch? Were you discharged prematurely? My guess is, you never did. Is it a narrow mindset to handle problems at the lowest level possible? Is it a narrow mindset to figure out a way to help a problem serviceperson to become successful. You know what you can't do in the military? You can't just fire subordinates. You have to figure out how to make them work or at least, not drag the rest of the unit down. You will not find people better trained and equipped to help others learn and grow than a former non-commissioned officer with years of experience counseling every subordinate on a regular basis on their performance, their duties and expectations, and responsibilities and what they need to do to be successful and advance and, oh, by the way, do these things, and stay alive in very dangerous places where lives are literally on the line. Adjust your compass sir!

Rich Eisen’s take on this is very sad. Forget about AJ Brown, TO (Eisen cut these takes short). Imagine if this had been Baker Mayfield. He would never see the end of it. Travis Kelce was disrespectful. He put his hands on Coach Reid. No frustration and "passion” justifies such an attitude. Travis is apparently untouchable and gets free pass for being a jerk.
