You can say that about everything in life especially politics. Thats why I don’t watch media anymore because they distort your own opinion and make you share their thoughts. Just like the whole kneeling during the anthem thing. My grandpa is a veteran and he wasn’t disrespected at all by the kneeling and said “thats why i served this country so he could have the right to do that” wether he agreed with it or not. But the media and republicans distorted the narrative it was disrespectful to the soldiers who served our country. Kneeling is the universal sign of respect. Disrespectful would be ignoring it entirely and acting like the anthem wasn’t going on National TV.

@@jusbertmeza4424kneeling is not a universal sign of respect. Only should be kneeling and bowing down to our Lord. I thank your Grandfather for his service to our country. Just like he and other veterans have his take on that, there are also veterans that have the opposite take and did find it disrespectful. Just like there are Black Americans that agree with Critical Race Theory, Diversity & Inclusion quotas & Affirmative Action, there are also Black Americans that do not agree with those concepts or policies. I do believe most Americans are not on board with these “influencers” and their opinions on either side.

It doesn’t matter if you’re black or white or blue. If you are in your 12th season with the same coach and team that drafted you. In the middle of your 4th Super Bowl. Wile taking a hometown discount to help your team. It would not be a big deal. All the players mentioned for comparison had their own things going on. T.O got retired early not cause of skill; but cause no team in the NFL wanted him in the locker room. Same with AB. Context matters. If this was Jerry Rice bumping Steve Mariuchi no one would care.

Travis Kelce has never played for another HC in the NFL but Andy Reid. Andy got physical with him when he threw his helmet and Andy runs practice hard. He knows what resonates with his guys and when gets to Travis. It would be one thing if AB stayed at the Steelers his whole career and bumped Tomlin vs what he did jumping team to team and bumped a HC he has like a year or less of experience together. Your friends have qualities you may not like but you work past it and forgive if they make a mistake, it’s the same to me. I was a player and a coach in a different sport (not at that high a level, a game the magnitude of the Super Bowl i can only imagine), in competitive sport you see it all the time, he'll if you're not intense, I dont want you on my team, if you get intense it shows me you care, if its frustration over something in the heat of the moment, Andy Reid knows this is part of the job, he's a good man-manager, he knew how to sort it out

Skip "I don’t know why Kelce was out on that play" Exactly Skip You DONT KNOW! Travis was mad at himself in the Divisional game vs the Bills when Mecole fumbled cause Trav missed his block on Micah Hyde 23. After the game Trav apologized to his teammates and coaches. Now in the SB Andy took him out on that run play cause Andy basically chose Gray 83 over Kelce on blocking. And guess who forced the fumble on Pacheco? The guy Gray was supposed to block. That’s why Kelce was mad cause he felt Coach didn’t give him a chance to redeem himself.

I totally agree that Kelce should be reprimanded for disrespectful behavior toward head coach Andy Reid. Reid is not just another locker room buddy, he's more like a COO of a world-class organization and should be treated with the respect he deserves. I understand emotions running high, etc. But each man is responsible for his own behavior no matter HOW fired up emotionally he is.

"Senior citizen"? Andy Reid pushed Chris Jones over and jumped on him after the Super Bowl. He shoulder-checked Travis after the Christmas game and nearly Sen him flying. His players dumped a drum of Gatorade on his head after the win. These are football players rough housing it with their coach, not someone's elderly relative.

Was it wrong? Yes. But that doesn't mean you crucify the guy. You let 2 adults work it out. And I may be way off base, but I think the relationship does matter. And Key points it out again and again. It's not a question of, "If TO had..." or "If AB ever..." because I firmly believe if Travis was a POC, it wouldn't matter one bit. Because he'd still be him, Andy would still be Andy, and their relationship would still be what it is. And I think that's the question. Not hypothetically putting other athletes into the situation.

U missing the point>>>>It's not about Reid being racist by punishing a black player over a white player. Look at it from this angle if I can help U open your mind but it's up to U to understand....ok Say U had a Coach and his unspoken rules was never put your hands on me or get in my face about anything and U crossed that line. White or Black don't matter ok it's not that the coach will punish anyone Kelce broke the rule period!!! Kelce never said he was sorry for bumping his coach the coach had to face the media and he said it wasn't a big deal...What we thought the coach will say.....No Big Deal,,,,But I really think coach needs to address that issue so No other player thinks they can ever touch me I am 65 yrs old a granddad son but, the most important thing I want to touch on is THE MEDIA RUNS THE WORLD!!!! If the play by play announcer ran him in the ground like they will do to TO, Cam Newton, Michael Vick and any other black dude...why we all act like this is not the world we leave in. Do me a favor turn on your TV and look at the news and look at all the crime that happens in America and why most of the time we see Black boys and Black men always on the news in handcuffs going to jail. Yes Black men do commit crimes all the damn time but, so do white men and white women and Mexican men and women but, rare do U see it on TV.....I tell U this for sure>>>>>I worked in some jails and I see black men and women but I see alot of Mexican men and women also including white so Understand This......blacks people not trying to make it a black or white thing.....
