@@YadVenturess BEST TOURIST SPOTS IN BALABAC, PALAWAN, PHILIPPINES (Check it out in KZbin) Hello Yad Ventures my friend I highly recommend to explore Balabac, Palawan especially Mansalangan Sandbar, Punta Sebaring Beach & visit Onok Island. There is a direct flight from Cebu going to Puerto Princesa City. Afterwards, you can take van from Puerto Princesa Bus Terminal going to Rio Tuba Port & then from Rio Tuba Port going to Balabac, Palawan. 1. Visit Punta Sebaring Beach & Bugsuk Island, lies at the south portion of Bugsuk Island which nestles two dreamy white sand bars; Punta Sebaring 1 & Punta Sebaring 2. 2. Explore Onok Island or Roughton Island in Balabac, Palawan. It is often the most hailed & talked about among all Islands in Balabac. The island is engulfed with white, floury sands that extends to a 5 meters wide reef where sighting of sea turtles & pink dolphins awaits. 3. See & Swim in Ursula Island, it is located near Rio Tuba, Bataraza, Palawan. 4. Discover Mansalangan Sandbar in Balabac, Palawan. It is one of the longest sandbar in the Philippines quite a fascinating hallmark that teases visitors of it's stunning charm. 5. Visit Indalawan Falls & Indalawan Beach in Balabac, Palawan 6. Tabon Caves National Park in Quezon, Palawan. 7. Nasubata Reef & Pulau Bato in Balabac, Palawan. 8. Candaraman Island in Balabac, Palawan, it is one of the larger islands that are confined with a long strip of sugary shore & of little depth water. 9. Patawan Island & Patongong Island in Balabac, Palawan. The small island of Patawan, which can be circumnavigated in 10 minutes is one that has pink-tinged sands because of the presence of red organ piped corals in the area. 10. Visit Cape Melville Lighthouse in Balabac, Palawan 11. Sicsican Island in Balabac, Palawan, it has naturally good reserve of coral gardens perfect for snorkeling. Sicsican Island is relatively narrow & can be crossed over from one side to another for about 15 minutes through its forest. 12. Canabungan Island in Balabac, Palawan is 2.7 kilometers long & it covered of patchy creamy white sand that is easy on the feet. 13. Explore Pink Island (Comiran / Camiaran Island) WHERE TO STAY IN BALABAC, PALAWAN? 1. Palm Bay Resort Palawan 2. Sing & Swing Lodge 3. Batalla's Lodging House 4. Bambu Suites Hotel Palawan HOW TO GO TO BALABAC, PALAWAN FROM PUERTO PRINCESA CITY, PALAWAN? You can take a van in San Jose Bus Terminal in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan bound to Rio Tuba. Then from Rio Tuba , take a taxi to Rio Tuba Port or Buliluyan Port in town of Bataraza, Palawan & take a boat going to Balabac Island Port.

@Yad Ventures....I suggest you also climb Kandungaw Peak that sits on the edge of the easternmost boundary of Badian Range, about 19 kilometers from Osmena Peak to the north. Kandungaw Peak offers a different but more beautiful scenery as its eastern precipice plummets vertically down to the valley below that is sometimes blanketed by thick fogs. Kandungaw Peak actually, is composed of 3 rocky outcrops. You'll surely love it there. There are two types of routes going up there: for beginner and advanced climbers. The route for advanced climbers is shorter but requires technical knowledge in climbing but also get to see caves as a bonus. Both routes require guides and is mandatory especially for first-timers. The peak is about 30-40 minutes hike from the nearest road. The road is well-paved and has 2 lanes. I forgot how much was the entrance/environmental fee that we paid before (back in 2021) but more or less P50-P100 per person plus the mandatory local guide (P200).

@Yad Ventures....Actually, Osmena Peak is just a peak, not the entire area where it is located. Osmena Peak is just one of the hundreds of peaks that make up the unique Badian Mountain Range landscape. It is located in the mountainous region of the town of Badian. The Badian Mountain Range is the largest and highest mountain range in entire Cebu. All the 10 tallest peaks in Cebu are found in that mountain with Lugsangan Peak (aka Casino Peak) being the tallest (not Osmena Peak). Osmena Peak just happens to be the first peak to be heavily promoted as the tallest due to its accessibility and thus, more marketable to tourists. Casino Peak is the only peak that offers you an unhindered view of all the major islands surrounding Cebu (Bohol, Negros and Siquijor). You can't see Siquijor Island from Osmena Peak.

You should have used the Dalaguete-Alegria Road that starts from Dalaguete, on the eastern side of the island. The road from Dalaguete is a highway and much nicer. The new Badian-Dalaguete Road is recently constructed as a tourism road with access to Mantalongon (in Dalaguete), the vegetable basket of Cebu, for those tourists coming from Moalboal wanting to climb Osmena Peak. Before that, only Alegria town (south of Badian) has two access routes to Osmena Peak but only one lane each.
