how I did what exactly? For the rigging: I followed GDquest's amazing tutorial found here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eaLTZIOAhq6li8U it's a bit of a tedious process but not that hard at all For the pixelation efect: I went to Project Settings>Display>Window and set the "Width" and "Height" to some low resolution, and the "Test Width" and "Test Height" to a higher one (settings for my case where 60, 60, 480, 480) , mess around with those values for diferent pixelation levels but remember that those should be multiples or you will end up with stretched pixels, then, don't forget to set Stretch Mode to "viewpoint" it's the most important step. Note that doing this you are commiting to a pixel-perfect style game, I'm sure there must be a way to pixelate something using shaders but I have got no clue how.
