@@ass_ass_in6365from what I’ve seen basically in the tape Amanda starts going wild, the TV screen turns red/black and starts cracking and Amanda is about to come through the screen, the player throws a brick at the TV destroying it and when you look at the window the sun actually begins to shine instead of it continuously being midnight black outside.

The problem with horror games is that games that build on psychological dread and the fear of the unknown are too hard to sell to your average Schmo (though thankfully, they do still get made, like Dredge) but you can always milk the quick and dirty jump scare. Plus, kids inevitably get involved and they're a marketing gold mine. But, once you know how and when the scares happen it loses the aura and just becomes a very irritating fail state, like the game blaring a fog horn for screwing up. So content creators, who again often have a very young audience, have to fake being scared after the first couple of spooks.

I know this is a Poof video, so it's meant to be a bit funny, but I'd like to throw some lore in here. (Or potential? I think it's correct though, but we'll see.) SPOILERS. The voice actress who plays Amanda (Story, not IRL.) is named Rebecca, and her soul is seemingly trapped in the show, with her playing the part of the character she voices. However, she is also possessed by a demon, which explains her psychotic actions. At 20:49 Amanda is asking why she can't "-stop it?!", this very clearly looks like Rebecca crying out in torment, asking why she can't stop the demon that is controlling her. She knows it's evil, she doesn't want to hurt anyone, but she's losing the battle. Earlier, when talking about rotting, and death, Amanda states that she sometimes feels like *she* is rotting, implying that Rebecca knows that she is dead. She also says "I'm out there, somewhere..." In this case, referring to her remains. Her body is somewhere, most likely in a shallow grave, buried, rotting. And most likely her father as well. I apologize for this, but being a huge fan of Five Nights At Freddy's, there's potentially all sorts of twists and mind fucks in the lore of this game. I doubt the creator wants it to be easy to understand, so these likely theories could very well be false. Why? Because of what has now become classic horror game brain scrambling.
