You are wisely using a helper who is right on the track of the best local foods, so that you don't have to "re-invent" the wheel, and try to find places to see and go by chance. @@BackpackerBen Well to be quite honest I can only think of a few, first one being that Careem is your friend here, since it's in English and regular taxis tend to overcharge locals even AND never cancel a ride if the driver is telling you too, he should cancel it himself, not you. That way you won't have to pay the cancellation fees. Also there is a huge language barrier so it's best that you have a local guide or a friend guiding you so you can get the best services for your money but if that's not an option (but it would be helpful if it was) then it's not really that worrying considering a good number of people in Islamabad particularly speak English in good fluency (make sure to go ask the younger kids or teenagers etc since they prolly speak better). Another thing, I guess it's a universal rule, to keep a copy of your passport instead of like actually physically giving the original to people. Other than that just have fun and visit the margalla hills and areas like f-9 park etc! The best hotels are Marriott or Serena ( nice food in both) for a stay but there are certainly more just as great if not more too. That's all, I'm probably the worst person for tips T^T. Don't understand why most of these western vloggers start In Karachi. It's probably the most intense and fast paced city in Pakistan. Its better off starting in the modern, calm backdrop of the capital Islamabad to settle in. Then see the scenic northern region of Gilgit Baltistan, Lahore etc and end the trip in Karachi. Oh my god the memories, I'm from Plymouth, now living in New Zealand. Could never go back there permanently now. I found your videos a few weeks ago and the first time you opened your mouth I thought, "That there bey's from Plymuff". No mistaking the Janner. I used to live in Eggbuckland (born in St Judes - says a lot haha) and was a teacher at Plymstock school. Also lived in Southway, Estover, Mainstone, Elburton, Peverell and a few years in Kingsbridge. From Bretonside up the A38 - I have traveled on those National Express buses to London more than once. Whereabowts in the Muff are you frum me 'ansome? You sound like a St Boodeaux bey to me. 😂
