Great choice of travel. I tell everyone go visit Philippines you won’t want to leave, it’s much safer than 10 years ago, truly is Paradise. Been going to Philippines since 2011 from Canada , always a sad depressing day when I have to return to go back home, definitely have plans on some day staying ( Mindanao is awesome!

When you were at the Boulevard, you started walking toward the port...the other way is a beautiful beach past the airport right near the Police Academy. It's called Syciab. There's garbage before the beach but it's the most beautiful black sand beach I've ever been to.
