Yeah Rog, well done mate. So rare to see an elite athlete, completely unfiltered just let it rip...damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead. So refreshing, possibly my favorite interview of an athlete ever, especially given the media climate we find ourselves in what with the concern about image, branding, getting cancelled, etc.. it just feels as if it's harder for that true authenticity to shine and shine he does,

Listening to Ollie seems it would be an idea for the club to build or buy a few houses close to eachother in Wrexham for players that have the issue of travel As they move up the leagues players are gonna have to be more professional and gain every advantage they can without worrying about travelling and having family days off New contract for him could include accommodation/ Housing

Dean Keats got a raw deal, we don't know how we would have managed with a decent budget and some of these players. Dean was working on a terrible budget because he couldn't spend the fans' money.
@brianeleighton10 ай бұрын
Here is something you need to consider. Dean Keats could never have brought in players like Paul Mullin, Aaron Hayden, Ben Tozier or Ollie Palmer even with the budget Wrexham had. Why? Because every single one of those players has specifically said they were dubious about dropping down to Wrexham's level at the time. The reason they came? They talked to Phil Parkinson and he convinced them to come. Only a manager with the pedigree of Phil Parkinson could do that. This is because Phil has a reputation for getting teams promotions. Dean simply doesn't.
@Pengi_SMILES10 ай бұрын
Realistically they could have replaced Keates as soon as the takeover happened but they gave him the rest of the season and funded signings (limited by the window admittedly). He'd done a decent job on a limited budget but we needed a different approach.

Never given a decent run by Paul Cox at Mansfield, like Sam Clucas too, a player that walked into a championship side but allegedly not good enough for a conference side. That being said, for fucks sake, let it go. Not all fans turned on you and the owners are great at Mansfield.

Yeah, he does over talk his point or question, rather like Garth Crooks whose questions we longer than Brighton pier. To be honest, I came on here to hear Ollie Palmer tell his story, not listen to an overly verbose, madly gesticulating, as per John McCririck, Bud Light drinking, dramatist!
