I Was "Wrong" About Starfield

Bethesda's fanboys are the type who could miss seeing Liberty Prime because their nose was glued to the quest marker. It's not surprising then, that they wouldn't understand waiting a couple of weeks or even a month to make sure the game is good before paying for it and most have probably already pre-ordered it too. I don't know why it's so hard for them to fathom. IF the game is actually good, you lose nothing by waiting for a bit. If the game is bad you risk being stuck with it and you're out whatever money you paid. Especially if you're planning to get it for xbox.

That dumbass didn't bring up a single good point. He is just an asshole of the highest degree. The reviews are already out and besides some outliers, the game is mostly a 9 or 10. I've been playing it and haven't encountered a single bug and it's been freaking amazing. Already put in 10 hours into it. EnclaveEmily is by far the worst person on KZbin of all time.

FYI about the fallout debacle: There were some collector's edition helmets shipped out with toxic levels of mold and they had to recall them. Not sure what the helmets were a part of but iirc it was some sort of collector's edition package but I could be wrong.

From what I can remember, the helmets were actually a different variant of the one shipped with the collector's edition. They were supposed to have been painted red and sold independently. Whether or not the ones included in the collector's edition had that mold too, I don't know.

@@fml1528 There was an ultra expensive one that came with a helmet and that was the same one that had the nylon bag that was advertised as being a canvass bag. The helmet that was supposed to have been sold separately later got recalled due to mold, but the "collector's" edition one could have had the same mold. I just don't know either way.

Honestly, I think people like Fallout 4 more for what can be rather than for what it is in its vanilla state. The main story sucked (Far Harbor and Nuka-World were better), weapon designs were mid to just ugly and nonsensical, and it barely had any RPG elements, mostly focusing on the settlement building (which got really old, really quick with all the micromanaging the player had to do, and most of the DLC for the game centered around that mechanic). Not to mentioned the bugs that the game has. Its the modders that carried Bethesda's Fallout, and Bethesda knows it. I wonder if Microsoft understands this. I remain cautiously optimistic about Starfield, but I am not getting my expectations up to the moon.

The features shown can be directly compared to the previous games including paddle-sword gun designs. Just not sure if it's worth it though since once you've swallowed it's hard to spit again.

Tbh the gameplay might be fun but the storyline looks like it’s probably going to be pretty bad if I had to guess. From the trailer and watching lore videos there are just things that don’t make sense or are just kind of silly. Imma just wait another 10 years for Star Citizen to come out cuz at least in that game I can completely fly around planets and also in and out of them. And if Squadron 42 comes out soon I know that will probably have a more compelling story than Starfield but we will see.

Lol, The ONLY reason to love a BGS game is because it's a "good" rpg. The ONLY ultra- moddable truly persistant open world on the market which stands in a genre by it self can not possibly be loved for being just that. These idiots just think it's a great RPG.
