My dearest Walcom, I opened my Blitzfire and found the snapfire stock spring is the same length but has a narrower diameter than the current stock spring. So I fit it inside the stock spring and now it hits like a truck. I am pleased

You can use a zip tie to pre compress the spring when you’re installing it. One everything is in place, cut the zip tie and slide it out

I can tell you I modded mine with a very beefy spring. I doubled it up with the original spring. Had to glue down the catch spring. After its now getting 90 FPS with full lengths and 110-120 with half lengths. It is now my standard sidearm in my wars. Note if you want to make this half lengths, you have to take out that loading tab.

It reminds me of when I threw a Tek 6 spring into a jolt, brassed it, and sent it to Chaylo. I got 104 FPS with half length buzzbee super darts (the bright green ones with the blue tips). I haven't tried yet, but I think I can get a Hammershot spring in a jolt, that will be fun...

Well since it's a mod vid I figure I'll chuck this out. My Hammershot has a pretty slow return after trigger pull..about 1 and a half seconds before it gets to where it clicks and can cycle to the next chamber. Anyone know if that is the norm or any way to make it a little faster?

Im running the stock spring with a stock Retaliator spring and my blitzfire gained performance instead of decreasing, comparing it to a stock one it shoots quite a bit further and much much harder. Definitely might jump it to a 5 or 7 kg spring and see if I can make this go any higher

So you didn't have any zip ties to do MTB's main spring trick? (From the Mega hammershot video.) I can't what to hear what the perfect spring is when it's found! I've been playing around with cutting cheep darts down to 1/2, 1/3, and 1/4 length. How well do you think this pistol would do with 3 darts at 1/3 length per chamber?

I'm not sure if you are right the hammershot hitting only 85fps with a 11kg spring. The blaster hits over 70 stock. I have a 10kg spring and that bitch hits over 100. I'm going to do this mod now and I will compare and let you know what I think. That is why you did a mod guide right? So people would try the mod? Also not that I am this way but some people may not be 100% in love with top rear slide action. Man you stressed the shit out of that poor little blaster. Did you break it before you were done filming? You put a lot of tension on that thing plus the fps is all over the place went from 105 to 125 back to 106 to 115 and so on. Its not super reliable. Seemed like the most steady reading was 105. A lot of 105. And steady 115 for short darts. It is cool but not better or more powerful then any hammer shot. I get you were exited that you found this cool little mod but its not like the best thing ever. Seemed really really wimpy in the plastic which is going to fail very quickly. I know modded blasters will fail but this shit I just imagined you firing it in the video and it just exploding into a bunch of pieces and the spring you forced in there flying out and smack your forehead. Way janky and janky is cool and fun but reliable not usually. I give this combined score of video and finished product a solid 7.5/10 Good job walcom s7

A hammer shot does not hit over 70 FPS stock. Your Chrony is broken if it says that. It barely hits high 50s stock.
