I figured it was like Adam and Eve with the Fruit of Knowledge. Chakra does feel like free will/ power, and Kaguya wants to keep it all to herself. Since everyone's always fighting one another over it. Her having seen it all, using the Infinite Tsukoyomi as a means of maintaining peace seems like a very tragic realization in her end; that there's no other way true peace could happen.

Not just that he even added stuff about the sharingan needing trauma for evolution which was completely false. Later on in one of the novels orochimaru actually explains that Sharingan can evolve through any form of emotion if it is strong enough. Which is why Shin uchiha who was implanted with sharingans of the dead uchiha members evolved a Mangekyo sharingan without trauma.

Kaguya's origin is from japanese folktales. This is a reinterpretation. Studio Ghibli has a version closer to the folklore in the movie "Tales of the Princess Kaguya"... But one of my favorite takes on this story is the Shirogane's interpretation of it (in the other anime you're watching, Love is War)... Don't worry, this isn't a spoiler, the author of Love is War just borrowed a lot from that story. And it will be talked about soon enough.

- Princess Kaguya is a very old Asian tale, Kishimoto adapted to Naruto as many elements are. You even Have a Ghiblie Movie about it. She's does come from the sky/Space/moon (dependings on the versions), and land as a "baby" in the a bamboo forest and meet a prince, then her people come to take her back. - The Japanese see the form a rabbit in the moon craters, so kishimoto make several reference as her as a rabbit or rabbit goddess. - In general Asian mythologies like Buddhism, the gods or spirits have litteral Cosmic scale, so many representation in Asian pop culture are similar in that way. the game "Ashura's wrath" is a very good exemple of that.

It's actually a great character, further proves that shinobi are only tools that should be used (even Madara can be used), ties within Madara's thematic of Savior complex + fear of getting backstabbed, explains why the chakra tree had a conscience and could talk to madara,finalizes the cycle of hatred by fighting the "essence" of it (Kaguya), shows us why Zetsu exists (why has nobody wondered how a humanoid like creature like him existed), gives us lore on chakra roots and humanity root's ( a little bit like AOT end), sets up obito's character conclusion and more The best thing about it? it's only 9 chapters and leads up to Sasuke v naruto 2 as the true ending

I don't mind the alien part of the story it's a different take on ninjas, and it would explain the world. I just wish there was more foreshadowing throughout the series, so it wasn't so jarring. Also. Kaguya, being the last villain with no build-up after Madara, was taken out so quickly after years of hype that was not the best. Kaguya should've entered a lot sooner or been foreshadowed.

Literally just shoehorned into the story and I don't know why I would care about it. The only attempt Kishimoto made for me to care was a half assed flashback right before it ended. What i understood when i watched it was that the original plan was to get there eat the fruit and begin the tree operation immediately but she was hesitant to do so because she knew what was coming and she felt bad doing that to the humans ultimately because she became friends with some of them and fell in love with one of them. Then after she lost everyone she loved she decided okay humanity is un redeemable im going to go through with the plan after all. think about it like dragon ball z goku was sent to earth to do the same thing make the humans weak and colonize them but he hit his head and never did. Guys the Final boss is actually not her though and you all knew who is it. But in other hand we just got that final villain of Akatsuki on action which is Zetsu with its Manipulation plots. The answers are literally right there in Boruto but people don't watch because of whole the Naruto and Sasuke nerfed and theri characters changes which is not bad because they're literally adults not teenagers and not the MCs anymore

I do like Naruto quite a bit, but it's not perfect. Personally, I don't even hate Kaguya. It just feels like an average disappointing ending. The worst part is that it highlights how absolutely absurd the power scaling got

The part about the Kaguya/ Ashura/ Indra thing that bothered me, is the whole point of Naruto is to try your best. No one is born special you need to work hard, which is the whole reason he beat fought so hard against Neji to prove that point. But, since that start of the show Naruto has had the advantage of a father who was hokage, special lineage from a sealing clan, a tailed beast, trained by a hokage and a sanin, trained by another tailed beast user, and is now has chakra Jesus powers. He was literally given every advantage someone COULD be given and is an unfortunate problem with shounen that go on for too long. Same thing with Bleach, One Piece, and especially Black Clover "anyone can be a magic knight if they work hard enough" (Lies, the main character has story connection to make him special and have a power no one else will ever have, and his friend for story reasons has as much if not more mana that most people, royalty included). The difference is they continued Naruto by making Boruto to keep the cash grab going on, but they BARELY tried. All the kids have identical names to their parents as well the same abilities as their parents so there is almost no original characters besides enemies. There's also a reason why Naruto and Sasuke are STILL a lot of the main focus for the majority of the series because they're the poster children. They should've just made it a time skip when they were adults and made it a more serious themed manga, than just try to reboot the series without getting rid of the old cast lol.

Madara was an adept at sensory Jutsu who dodged a flying raijin attack while blind, In fact he didn't have armour at his back and was only successful sneaked attacked by hasirama senju the god of shinobi after they were both low on chakra at the final valley battle. Failing to dodge a sneak attack from black Zetsu no matter how unexpected after becoming The Jinchiriki of The Ten Tails, Possesing 3 ultimate eyes, The reinengan and the reinen-sharigan just seems dumb.

@@konnor2588​​⁠ I enjoyed Black Zetsu’s betrayal, but seeing Madara, who’s now so powerful he easily outmaneuvered Sage Minato, get blindsided by a character who has recently been bifurcated by a relatively unimpressive side character (Chojuro) and is attached to a dying body (Obito) does raise questions, to say the least.

The alien and space travel stuff was an interesting idea. For me personally it took too much away from the end story that the series was about to begin with. Along with that Boruto felt ruined for me as well. I enjoy the majority of the Naruto series but i lost all interest once Kaguya showed up and was explained.
