Remember an article about him having an Everton crest mounted on the side of his house in The Echo.....then he was off. So weird at the time, i was only a young lad and i was absolutely gutted.

Bill ran the club like a corner shop while the rest of football embraced and evolved

During Michael's time at the club we had to sell players, we sold ; Francis Jeffers, Richard Dunne, Gavin McCann at a similar time and even after Michael left we went through a time where we basically had to sell a player a year to balance the books and often that would be a young home grown talent with a high value. With FFP we are basically in that same situation now, with Anthony Gordon probably being the latest.

Watched Ball play at left back for Rangers v Ipswich, away, in a pre-season friendly. Best player on the pitch by far.

We’ve had some left foots.. Ball, Sheedy, Baines, Hinchcliffe even Bilyaletdinov had virtually nothing else to his game but a wand for a left foot. It’s probably the thing missing from this current squad to make it ‘Everton’. We’ve got the centre-back partnership, the imposing centre-forwards but no wand on the left… who’s out there?

except for rooney everton done well to sell most of theyre home grown players before the injuries and other problem etc caught up with them. Ball would have been class if not for the injuries which got dreadful season after we sold him to rangers

Let’s be real here. After the testimony of Ball, Rooney and Ferguson if you still think Good Times Bill wasn’t rinsing the clubs assets to keep his train set running then you are beyond help. Draw your own conclusions from the ‘leaks’ to the press while the players had to sign NDAs.

Club is corrupt from top down and has been since BK got involved. Read George Best's autobiography and he talks about BK being a Liverpool supporter.
