About the underground heat thing, not really, heat doesn't travel through ground that well, the only time it does is when the litterl stone starts to melt due to lawa, and the titans aren't burning/melting the ground, as can be seen in their footprints being present, sure things on top of the ground will burn, but stuff deep down that'll remain burn free, someone did a deep dive on it and how to survive in a deep mineshaft a year or so ago, and it's definitely possible, though it would have to be a massive mine to be able to keep that weight on it and be fine, like modern deep mines that's been around since the mid 1800's the only real issue would be food and water, water that deep down tend to have lots of bacteria inside it (for example the world's deepest gold mine in South Africa is so deep that the ground is the same temperature as the surface during summer, and the water pools where found to contain thriving bacteria colony's.) And food most likely would have burned up and would leave you with what little you could take with you.

Keep in mind that in the first chapter of shingeki no kiojin Wit Studio changed Eren's dream, for this reason at the beginning of this special chapter Mappa corrected that mistake. Mappa made this correction due to the importance of Eren and Mikasa's dream for the end of the story. In the first chapter of the manga and at the beginning of this chapter it is understood that the dream that Eren mentions having had is about Mikasa and him, what was shown in the first chapter before Eren wakes up (titans, toys and corpses) is a change made by Wit Studio and has nothing to do with Eren and Mikasa's dream shown in the first chapter of the manga.
@Acier6665 Жыл бұрын
The itterasshai that Mikasa says in Eren's dream, is a farewell that is used among people who live in the same house. When a person leaves the house he says ittekimasu (which means, I will leave but I will come back) and the person who stays at home answers itterasshai (which means, please go and come back). Although there are translations like, come back soon, I'll see you later, take care or I'll see you again, a more literal translation that truly expresses the meaning of Itterasshai is, "please go and come back".

I still can't believe so many people easily believe that armin likes annie because of barry. Like, we already know eren lied about the mikasa thing, why would he say truth about barry. And titan memories don't work that way, we have precedent for that in the show. Noone else ever in the entire show has ever been shown or questioned about their feelings not being their feelings. If thats how thst worked then why was Grisha helpless against Eren in the first place. So no, armin likes annie coz he just likes her. And he liked her all the way back in s1 when they trained together. Going back to watch the episodes you can notice that.

The reason why taking the titan powers away from Eldians wont be enough is because the world would not care. Eldians are basically normal humans unless a very specific fluid is ingested, which is extremely rare, after which they turn into mindless titans (or in extremely rare cases a shifter) that are actually dangerous. This, and their historical association with a nation that used that power for oppression is so ingrained into world culture that basically nobody would take a chance with them. The hatred is societal, systemic, and partially irrational. Plus, who could even believe the powers had been taken away? There's basically no better option than the euthanasia plan (which is sterilization) if you don't want to kill existing people. Not that I think even that would have prevented violence, because the hatred wouldn't go away.

I don't think bert has had any effect on Armin's feelings for Annie, it wouldn't make sense, because if that were the case wouldn't eren have feelings for his own mother?

A world where Eren can't bang his hot mom doesn't deserve to exist. Jesus, these jokes won't get me points in heaven.

Man, since I'm an anime only, I can't wait to finish watching the ending of AoT so I can finally plunge into the manga and go balls-deep into theories and shit surrounding the possible realities that aren't acknowledged by the show so far. Fr fr, Isayama built a powerful story here that too many dumbos call overrated. Overrated their fucking asses, I tell you what. Great video, by the way. Your insight and pov is always pleasant to hear.

you can call anything that. its the people that want to hate it before even watching it that when finally watching it they will see literally nothing but every tiny bad thing they can point out and ruin the show for themselves. those people miss everything but that's their loss. they want to be right so bad that they don't allow themselves to get attached to characters, appreciate art style or anything. those people are pathetic to me, just a bunch of big egos

The song near the end, when they jump of is the second part of Splinter Wolf. It's such a goddamn mood of a song. It's just been blasting I'm my head since this episode came in. Definitely check it out whenever you can, it's amazing.

Someone had mentioned once that Armin was crying so hard because he was also burned alive, so he understands the pain that Hange must had gone through as well as watching her die. That hit me a little different ngl and now that scene makes me more sad

Now that we are heading to the end of this fantastic story, i just want to say Thanks, alicia, to accompany us: the viewers through this magnificent story with your magnificent personality and being, it was a long trip..when we started seeing the innocent,freedom-hungry eren who wanted to see what is outside the walls,and we saw his process to become a real Monster for the people he really cared for, i wish for you all the gods and SHINZOU WO SASAGEYO!

The mental picture of Alicia breaking down to the beat of the JOJO's opening is something else. Sobbing, hysterical laughter, sobbing, hysterical laughter. Breakdown, breakdown!

This first half to finale was really immersive in the way it made you feel the desperation and urgency along with the characters. Like you were actually there in an apocalyptic situation and you were about to go on a suicide mission to prevent something that feels unreal but will be very real if you won't try to do anything about it.

Welcome to the wait Alicia, we've been waiting. This special man, when the "Chapter 2" card popped up my gf had to get up and stop the episode because I was bawling. I feel like Hange got the best send off I've ever seen in anything. Everything culminates in that moment for her and it is handled fenomenaly. I was already completely broken by the time the song ends, and then they show the scouts. THAT KILLED ME. IT WAS SO PAINFULLY BEAUTIFUL. I'm such a skeptic mofo and completely devoid of any "spiritual" attachment, yet I want to tattoo that moment on my soul, it broke me into pieces and then cradled them in the most bittersweet manner. This show is exactly what I never knew I craved from media, it scratches the itch of my being like no other. I had my doubts before, that it could pass the test of time and it just kept on growing, climbing my favorites one by one, and now I think I can finally place it as my number one.

Alicia at the beginning: *in absolute shambles* Alicia at the halfway mark: TOTAL FLOCH DEATH, Curbstomp Floch's head into the concrete, roundhouse kick Floch in the face, defecate in Floch's food, liquefy Floch in a vat of acid, kick Floch down the stairs, slice Floch in half with a katana. Alicia at the end: _IN ABSOLUTE SHAMBLES_

Thank you for the reminder to clean my monitor, very cool. Hange's death broke me bad, that was one of the hardest moments for me in the whole show. But I'll be damned if I didn't say that she went out in a blaze of glory and I wouldn't have it any other way. o7
@Kraxel-North Жыл бұрын
Hange really got the best death she could've in my opinion. She died doing what she loved while also sacrificing herself to help what remains of the Survey Corps save what remains of humanity, AND she got a great ODM gear scene along with a beautiful moment with her fallen comrades to send her off.

If you think as Armin as the protagonist, it's such a badass story. A weak kid that gets into the army, becomes stronger and gains superpowers while still having compassion, has to fight his childhood friend who turned evil at the pressure of the world trying to exterminate their nation.
@Adsper2000 Жыл бұрын
Honestly Armin could’ve been the best character. The weakest boy in the Scouts that became the strongest man in the world. Shame he didn’t really done anything this season besides save Falco, fail to negotiate several times, and get shot in the face.

Hange saying she's taking responsibility and sacrificing herself to slow down the Rumbling is the only time in the manga that I felt compelled to do the "fist bump to the heart" salute. Ain't a single motherfucker in this universe who dedicated their heart harder than Commander Hange, she was too good for this world.
