Let me know if you guys enjoyed the style of this video, with the voiceover and some of those POV shots. I'm finding that it's a good balance of not interrupting the work flow too much, but still feels natural as I go back with the voiceover, almost like I'm doing a reaction to my own video. I really like this "DVD Director's Commentary" style of video. The audio sounds relaxed and maybe a little more detailed

That's a beautiful finish on that blade, the pattern is simply unorthodox and amazing in design and the handle looks amazing as well.

I favor this video style because I think more of the process is shown without interruption. I also believe that you are able to make comments that are more accurate because you can make them in a more timely manner, and maybe even correct/add points here and there. Keep it up!

21:00 What grit range/media do you find good for renewing with the diamond file?
@DonNguyenKnivesКүн бұрын
I'm not really sure it matters, something coarse around 200-400 grit would probably work. The stuff I use for the grinding belts is a lot more coarse, that feels like 80-120 grit.

3M Super 77 should help adhere your sandpaper. It's tacky for a few minutes, and dries much stronger.
@DonNguyenKnives2 күн бұрын
@@fm114fd I was not a fan of 77 at all, it dries way too strong. What I want is an adhesive that has enough shear strength so the sheet doesn't come off, but is easily replaceable.

I thought the move for disks was applying paste wax to the platen, letting it fully dry, and then applying adhesive of choice to the disks
