Wow, really fine work. I’ve often thought about the notion that craftsmanship from the past was superior to many fine hand made things today. With modern improvements in metallurgical processing and materials, in the hands of a skilled artist I believe that in the future people will marvel at the fine pieces hand crafted today. Congrats on creating a fine eye popping beauty, that will be appreciated for centuries. . (I really want to have one, but it belongs in a museum of art display rather than me using it to remove the innards from big game animals or cutting steak at the hunt camp supper table).

Your tool collection eliminates so much work with precision. I was told the only difference between a Bowie and a San Fran Bowie is it's lighter, smaller, and fancier. That's probably not true.
@jvbknivesКүн бұрын
@@AndyFromBeaverton I suppose the San Francisco(name) style is mostly because of the knives that were made by the Will &Finck, and the Michael Price shops. The term took off quite soon as these knives were made in the 1850s!

@@AndyFromBeaverton I must also say you're absolutely correct with the fact that using these old machine tools I can use incredible precision!
