Runick musket is probably the best way to play musket atm. Just cause the runick spells can trigger your muskets and the draw power helps a lot. Plus the muskets can chain block for runick so its pretty nice.

@@claire6452 I've still slapped Swordsoul, Branded Despia and pure Runicks, plus back row heavy decks like Labrynth or Eldlich activate my effects for me. Is it less consistent than pure? Yeah, but it also has the better plays to make up for it, and it generates card advantage like crazy. Normal Runicks can't deal with things like cosmic cyclone while this variant can, plus you still go into link plays and allows you to chain block which Runick really needs.

You gotta play at least 1 master mind and wild in a pure musket, as master mind can be summoned off of max and allows you to draw for each musket spell/trap used on your opponent's turn and wild let's you shuffle extra copies of stuff in gy to draw 1 to maximize the long game. Honestly should play runick with muskets as both cover each other's weaknesses and have INSANE grinding when it pops off

Runick Musketeer is definitely a way better way to build it. The going second build is not good anymore cause of meta shifting. Eventually, you can also play Eldlich Musketeer, but to each their own. Runick version is busted

A good musket build is runick musket...it does exactly what you want. And sure, it's runick, but for once, it's not bad or floodgate turbo. Control deck as you aren't otking at all even normally, and runick is free stuff with muskets.

Yall just doin it wrong. Tech in a photon lead or two and that helps you get around your normal summon getting negated and starts a combo string depending on which names you start with. My pure musket version dunks runik at a decent rate and does good into Swordsoul and Despia if you go first and have a decent hand. It's still Rogue by a long shot but it isn't bad if you run it right🤣

You mustn't play that many handtraps and cards, that don't belong to the Archetype. I play almmost pure Musketeer and also the level 8 once. You only have like 12 Muskets in your deck. Of course you won't draw the Musketeer monsters. Play 1 copy of Maxx C and Ash, and don't play the pots of desires, extravagances and properities, because you need all cards in your deck and extra deck and not banished face-down. Build in some other draw engines. Musketeer is a really cool deck and makes fun. I can't, if it can keep up with the decks nowadays, but they really can surprise, IF they are played in the way they should be. And yes, I play "Wild" once in my deck. I won against the Nekroz Dogmatika deck of my brother. I would really advise you to build almost "pure" decks more often (pure = archetype-only). But that only as a tipp. And there was someone in the chat, who said Dragunity... Yes I love that deck, but you have to decide, if you wanna play pure or with cards, which lead to a 4 negates board. Therefore a KZbinr has good deck profiles, but I don't know, if I can say his name here. Have a nice Sunday.

I have played every event gotten ever gem possible and over a year I have wasted at least 14.000 on just master packs to burn my gems since I absolutely don't have any idea what deck I'd like and I couldn't be bothered to think of one why did I do this ? beacuse freaking konami decided gems should have a darn limit of 10.000 and I constantly got capped full since I never wasted any and had to start burning just to make room for more gems iv could have had so much if I wasn't forced to burn gems beacuse of a dumb freaking gem limit ahhhh

When I first bought Muskets irl i realised they can't work alone so I just added a Dogmatika engine with winda and 3 link in to the vrains, 3 dark ruler no more, for my quick boss monster to spawn in I added BLS of Chaos and I always started on the 2nd turn. This deck worked when I was using it against Tearlaments at the end of 2022

I recently wasted 3k gems building magical musketeers cause i thought that even if they are powercrept i can just combine them with runick but then i found the hard way that that deck is even worse than pure mm. Now I am coping that I can combine MMs with labrynth (they have to do with traps and also summon fiends) but this might cost me like 3k more gems

MM is good if your combine with runick. Pure MM is not good. MM is very hard to play as it is control deck and sometime aggro deck player may have hard times to play with control deck. Control deck require your to control players according to your way aka floodgate like Gravekeeper, secret village of spellcasters lockdown or disrupt opponent as often as possible like traptrick, MM runick and labyrinth or both like dinomorphia and Eldlich. It required more practice except the floodgate control varriant in order your control through match since control deck most of them unable to do OTK unlike aggro deck can do.

Please play S-force. I am their strongest soldier and the deck isn't good but it has so many funny interactions. For example if gravitino is on the field and an S-force is in the same column as Wandering Gryphon, if gryphon tries to negate you it will banish itself from the field instead of returning to deck and will not negate. It's hilarious.

Hello, Coder i know this is not related to you vid but please help me here. I had a discussion with someone on dueling book about tribe infected virus monster and torrential tribute (or any other trap card that destroy monster on summon). My oponnet summon TIV and i respond with TT, so he wouldnt be able to ACTIVATE the effect of TIV, but he said that he can still activate its effect and declare one type of monster and destroy them BEFORE my trap resolves. Its that correct? I tought he couldnt use it since i already activate a trap and TIV its and activated effect. PLEASE HELP ME HERE, yes we were playing goat format.
