During production of this video, several series continued putting out episodes (as expected) after I had already finished their segments. So here I'll talk about the new stuff and what I thought. Angel Hare Season 3 - Amazing. Stunning. Loved it. Personally not quite as strong to me as the first two seasons, but I enjoyed it a lot and thought it expanded the lore and creativity expertly. Camael is such a bean, and an amazing pull because that's an angel I actually like a lot for pretty much no reason? So awesome! Genuinely loved this series and this new season, will be getting the Angel Gabby plush if I can snag one before time's up. Super tempted to get a Zaggy too! Basswood County Episode 8 - Definitely felt a bit stronger than most of the other episodes, with interesting additions to the lore, plenty of actually pretty good found footage moments that were allowed to be creepy without a PNG spawning in (though the one that did do that was kind of awkward), and the ending was actually extremely good and pretty creepy. Overall one of the better episodes and I'm excited to see Dark Mind improving with time! Unorthodox Kitten The Machine That Doth not fucking DIE - I still have no idea what's going on but I love it. Some of the most striking visuals of the entire series, truly awe inspiring stuff and I believe a look into the life cycle of these abstract concepts told in the closest approximation that we might be able to understand. Lovely stuff. Local58 Night Walk - I'm taking credit for spawning in a new Local58 episode. I really liked it. I noticed very quickly the silhouette of the woman had two faces, which distracted me from the fact that we never see the bottom of her properly so the reveal still got me. "A predator cannot distinguish between Prey and Accomplice" is such a good line. Presentation is overall fantastic too. Kris is really not good at dispelling alien invasion theory though lol. I have yet to see The Backrooms Found Footage 3, or the new episodes of Night Owl, We'll Be Right Back, or They Don't Know They're Born but I absolutely will! The last two episodes of The Painter are also coming, and given the latest episode was easily the best and UrbanSPOOK seems fairly passionate about these last two I am actually a bit excited to see if they can bring it around in the end! Also Vita Carnis Season 2 holy shit. Also I got confused with Midwest Angelica and its reuploads so after I recover with a long nights rest I'll take a look and see what's actually new. I'll update this comment for a bit as I watch the new stuff!

I’m really happy that you at least covered Modern Day of the Monument Mythos. It’s one of my favourite pieces of media since it kinda like alternate future and history and I can connect more in a personal way. And the last episode of Modern Day shows that the universe called the Pattinson 1 is the first universe and the scene of the 0:00 bodies of John D Rockfeller and John Glenn which have Pattinson 2&3. Pattinson 2 is the Deanverse and Pattinson 3 is the Nixonverse. So Modern Day is the prequel of everything in the Monument Mythos.

@@michaelthesavior8740From what I understand from Nemesis’s description, Unorthodox Kitten’s character’s range anywhere from Outerversal to possibly Boundless, so it has the most impressive feats by a… literally indescribable margin. And Analog Horror characters in general have super interesting hax, because of how straightforward they *can’t* afford to be, for the mystery’s sake. But yeah, nitpicking aside, Monument Mythos seems like it would be the *easiest* to scale.

One of my favorite parts in the Mandela catalog is when those two guys (it's been forever and I forgot their names) got a call from a lady that was an alternate in which she said she was on a vacation but said that she heard her dead cat meowing at home. It's sorta like saying how Alternates can slip up but you need to be careful and listen closely on what the mistakes they made

Hey! I'll keep what you said in mind about WBRB - admittedly the series was VERY Nickelodeon-oriented at first, but I've been very much trying to expand my own tastes to incorporate into the show. There's no rule about 80s shows becoming anomalized in 90s reruns so ;)) I'll def give Transformers 1984 a watch, I feel like the entire catalog of cartoons from the 80s has hella potential, TMNT and GI Joe would be fun to toy around with especially :3 Also, definitely check out the fanmade anomalies ppl have made! Chances are if i haven't made an official tape yet, someone already beat me to it ;) Thank you sm for the feedback, and especially emphasizing my efforts in the series. I'll always recommend Fake Documentary Q when it comes to analog horror. It's a KZbin channel with found footage horror short films, and they're all incredibly well done. It's analog horror as in cursed vhs tapes, eerie sounds recorded on a cassette tape from an answering machine, other various types of film being recovered from different sources. Such as a couple going missing and their camera washing up on the beach, two actors continually redoing a scene for hours, footage of Buddhist exorcism gone wrong, a ritual for contacting the dead captured on film, creepy photographs. There's digital horror on there too. Something for everyone with Q.

There have been a few videos coming out recently ranking Analog Horror, which usually don’t really dive into actual horror of the series mentioned, only ranking the plot. THIS video, though, I really like. It always feels like you try and dig at least a little deeper into each series, and also not just laser-focusing on the plot.

I’m pretty sure I’m the only one here who knew about soulcorp and I’m glad it got into s tier as I’ve always found it to be really fun and funny the spectrephone episode works really well as an entry point to the series along with working well on its own teaching Tobias is probably my favourite as it’s great in terms of building up the horror and making you ask just what this company is up to along with the final minute just being great from a horror perspective no jumpscares no effects just a simple conversation that’s great in terms of making you uneasy with tobias’ final line always sending a chill down my spine and botm is just hilarious with basically every scene making me laugh I once showed it to my mother and she found it to be hilarious plus they all work well in terms of feeling like actual commercials making the company feel real and even more despicable with the lighthearted tone being spread and have a sense of charm to them glad that these got some respect Also since you plan to do a potential sequel to this if this video does well ( witch it really should it’s easily the best video on analog horror ) with said sequel focusing on one’s based on already licensed properties I recommend checking out yo’ve gotta be kiddin it’s a weird one being based on the kids show Arthur but it’s pretty creative and entertaining also the main villain of the series is weirdly simaler to Gabriel witch is just very funny to me

Linkara’s april fools vids are often a good time, if only because the joke is always “I’m really doing this.” When he makes a Jimquistion on the New 52, he doesn’t make a bullshit 50 sec vid tricking you. He seriously made a video critiquing the New 52 as if it was done by Jim Sterling. And that’s what makes Winter of ‘83 work. Also you can tell he’s a really big Doctor Who fan because the monsters in that series are peak DW monsters in balancing being goofy with genuine creativity, skill, and fear.

I'm interested in seeing someone tackle horror from the perspective of the earliest photo and video recordings. i feel like there's a lot of untapped potential there with the archaic technology used back then. i'd love to see you do another one of these but with digital horror instead. some really good ones off the top of my head are brandon works, drb0sch, chainmailchasers, and teeny toys exploration.

This was a very pleasant surprise and this is long but I want to comment on series that I’ve seen as they come along so imma just add stuff as I watch the episode Local 58 is a fucking classic and deserves its title as the progenitor of analog horror The painter is sucks but the funniest thing to happen was when Pastra the creator of dreams of an insomniac said oh I don’t like the painter it’s realizes purely on shock value and urban spook threw a hissy fit and the entirety of analog horror twitter clowning his as with even the creator the walten files, also gonna do a bit on that one later, to come out of hibernation because he hadn’t used twitter in months he was just working on episode 4 to clown on him funniest shit ever Angle hair is fucking amazing and I’m glad you loved it Mandela catalog is one I would suggest as a second after local 58 good story has its problem but still great Dreams of an insomniac: I love this one l as I’ve been follow Pastra since the beginning of his channel, an yeah the way inability to take some stuff specially with the Clyde scene, the veldagen ie the oc pasta uses as his icon, because when I see Clyde I don’t see scary demon is see Pastra the goofball who makes horror videos and thirst over Alice angle. However with vol.1 while I find it more tense than scary the reveal of the glasses being basically blinders for the workers and the reveal of winfrey, the giant fucking monster and with the lankmann face reveal I think it works more with knowing Pastra and lankmann’s voice as it builds this false sense of security and when the reveal of what lankmann truly looks like acts like a punch to the face Also just a little story about vol one Pastra lost a bet with one of his friends a KZbinr name David baron and had to change his twitter to fucking pastrami for a week and watching that happen live was funny as shit Vita carnis: in my opinion this one does the world building the best and the longest episode works because unlike a lot of other analog horror it build up the lore first so you aren’t waiting for something you don’t know kills the person you are waiting for what creature will kill it The greylock tapes: this is just the painter with substance to it because while it has some of the best gore of any analog horror it still has a story and good non gory moment with the big one being episode 3 or 4 , which ever one has the phantom pregnancy that just disappears and the crying of the lady as she realizes that her child is gone is fucking haunting No through road: holy shit I remember watching the first episode as a kid and being terrified for months fuck it’s so good

1:22 You kinda need to do that? For example, to do a better script one would need more time doing training (labor) or more time to develop a certain script (labor). So for better writing, you effectively need to pay for it, similar to animation and visual aspects, since you also could do more training to improve direction, style, and cinematography or use more time to develop those aspects in your series.

The writing seriously needed a second pair of eyes on it to avoid things like "uranium fungus" or any of the basic grammatical issues that sound like google translate on crack. Stuff like the giant flashlight and "crouders" killed me, especially since I kept thinking of Steven Crowder, aka the most embarassing person on earth every time I read/heard it. That's a personal issue but still I think "crouder" is a really silly sounding name for a monster.

Angle hare isnt what id call a horror, more a supernatural analouge drama. "Angle hare is in almost every way not a analouge horor. I dont care." Exactly! Its such a great series.

Bro the Nixonverse might actually be the most batshit insane horror series ive ever watched. It might just be my favorite analog horror just because of that. Like who can beat "there is no prophecy there is only me" then ALCATRAZ CHECKMATE Like how can you hate that Also yes we Americans despise the government

Based inclusion of Winter of ‘83 My favourite segment from it is the Weather warning as it’s the most bone chilling of all of them, with the “You will be like us” giving me MAJOR 60s era Cybermen vibes. Though shame the Batman Analog Horror series by OBlIVIoN (Formerly known as Siltrics) didn’t make the cut.

I presume the AI analog horror that you decided not to cover and replace with Ningen is the Real by anomaly. It really is a shame that a series with such unique and interesting plotlines can be brought down so hard by the usage of AI generated images. Shame, because they make some incredibly interesting storylines.
