I really like how Disney did Iago here. I loved him as a kid in all the movies. He reminds me of Mr Cotton’s parrot in Pirates of the Caribbean. His lines are just the right length that he could be a real bird.

I loved this. I remember watching this in theatres, just loving it. After I watched this for the first time, I was obsessed with the songs. But I was especially obsessed with "Speechless". It's probably my favourite song from this movie. But all the songs and dances were done incredibly well.

Part of the reason it was longer is that in animation they start with the audio and match the animation to fit. Robin Williams has a very fast paced delivery of his lines so it didn't take as long. Will Smith had to wait for the live action scenes and fit his audio to it that took ling than animation would especially to get all the people organized and hit their marks,

Aladdin is my favorite Disney movie. I'm so glad that Naomi Scott played Jasmine. She did a great job. Will Smith made a Great Genie even though I still loved Robin Williams as the Genie. I love the song "A Whole New World". One thing to know about genies, like Wil Smith said several times "there's a lot of grey area there". In mythology, Genies are Tricksters. Meaning that if you are not specific and you end up leaving out details, The Genie will take full advantage of it and manipulate the wish any way the Genie wants to.

The original "Aladdin" came out in 1992. I was 8 or 9 years old. These songs were sung in many choirs in schools. I sang "a whole new world." Later on, I learned it on the violin in orchestra class. Did anyone else learn these songs or any other Disney songs in school?

There is something about an animated Aladdin saving Jasmine from having her hand cut off that is more relatable and endearing than a live action Aladdin saving something being taken from Jasmine as payment for the food she took. If wants to go around shaming people for allowing the peasantry to starve. Then she needs to put on her princess hat and shame people.

I hesitate to suggest shows to watch because nobody seems to select my ideas. But these three are gold: Kelly's Heroes: WWII comedy starring Clint Eastwood, Telly Savalas and Don Rickles among others. The Buddy Holly Story: Starring Gary Busey. The Commitments: A bunch of no-name musicians form an amazing soul music band. (Have subtitles on for this one unless you are Irish.)

1. I know you cry a lot, Duaffy, although not as much as other reactors, granted that, but I really never thought you could cry at this though. 2. You both were actually right on the personal opinion. Will Smith truly wanted to honor Robin Williams as the genie. 3. Just like Timothee, I honestly liked this version better than the original. It just gave a more realistic version. You know? 4. DJ Khaled was also on the soundtrack for this. I didn’t realize it till the credits came. The soundtrack not only had DJ Khaled but it also had Zayn Malik and Zhavia Ward in it as well. 5. Idk if you take requests from comments or anything else other than Patreon, but if you really liked this version, what bout 2016 Jungle Book and 2019 Lion King both sometime soon if not next. 6. The new song is called Speechless. The only new song for this version. There’s also a new song in 2019 Lion King. Simba does this song called Where Do I Belong. And, Beyoncé contributed to the soundtrack for that as well.

I wonder if they're gonna get Chris Rock to play the genie in the live-action Return Of Jafar. They got a different voice-actor for the animated movie! Of course this could also just be yet another one-off. Unfortunately like so many other movie remakes!
