I realized that the Stella's flock is a mirror version of the original 5 members of the flock. The main flock originally consisted of 4 boys and 1 girl while Stella's flock consisted of 4 girls and 1 boy. By the way: the cel-shading anination looks way better during night time.

I love Gale’s design and antagonistic role, even though it can get repetitive at times, and wish we could’ve gotten more of her outside of the occasional bad PR cameo. (Looking at you, Free Hugs Burd) Plus, with the Golden Egg serving as both an item of obsession and reworked Midas curse, we could’ve had more of her going insane as she abused it more and more. Also, I imagined the egg being cast into the volcano. Idk, just felt a bit more fitting.

I have a really crazy theory about the lore of the pigs here. I think pigs we're likely the og inhabitants of the island, and the book about the egg wasn't a prophecy, but a story about the old ruler's downfall due to the temptation of the gold egg. The voodoo pig from the Halloween special I saw was described in a wiki as "Shaman Pig" and it makes me think that him and the bling pigs were the old pigs that used to live under the pig ruler. The old ruler being obsessed with riches is likely why the shaman has a magical, gold staff and why they all have bling. Soooooo my theory on the fall of the kingdom was likely that the pig ruler probably went off the deep end and kept turning things to gold, leading to the island becoming stone. So? The other pigs had to get rid of them and hide the egg where it couldn't be retrieved and used again. Then they wrote the book as a warning and history type of thing.

(male) fan of this series here. Slight correction: the big monster is not the mom; he's credited as "Daddy Monster". It's an understandable mistake, though. Also, Handsome Pig calls Gale "bebe", not "mama". I never noticed the animation error with Willow's invisible palette despite watching this series several times, though! One of my favorite parts of this series was the music by David Schweitzer. There are themes/leitmotifs for all of the major characters, as well as for the Golden Egg and Stella & Gale's friendship.

I remember AB Stella very fondly because it was the thing that truly got me hooked in the Angry Birds franchise, it was also the first game I was able to almost complete all by myself with no help when I was younger. The show, merchandises, and the games of this spinoff were a big part in not only shaping who I am now but also my art as I started out drawing the golden island flock before everyone else. It was truly an underrated masterpiece and I'm still sad the game never got a continuation/conclusion. But looking back, I'll admit that Poppy kinda sucked as a character in personality, idk how she became my favorite character for a short period of time.

This series seems to take place after she goes to Piggy Island, since Stella has shown some qualities that cannot be shown before her departure to Piggy Island. It's clear proof is shown in two episodes, Bad Princess and Last Bird Standing. In Bad Princess, she encourages her friends to fight back against pigs, since she seems to have some fighting skills, after she defeats a pig. But she has become rusty because she got kicked out from Gale's castle by 12 pigs. In Last Bird Standing, she refuses, even after Gale tries to force her, because she might have picked some stubborness from Red and his Flock. She only goes to her castle when she has no choice.

I've imagined a better version of episode 13, that in the ending instead of Gale seeing the Golden Egg in Stella hands and getting out of fear, she gets the artifact of Stella's hands and call all the Golden Eggs that she couldn't get in season 1, so she probably says that she will became a Golden God. Willow jumps out of fear while she's saying "WHA?!" And hides in the hat. And Stella say to Luca that she don't want that he get hurt and put him in the bag. And Gale, now corrupted by the unfortune Golden God power, transforms Handsome Pig into Handsome Pig of the Luck (for GG), and the pigs into gold. Stella and her friends (except Luca) go battle the god, but their powers are not sufficient and they get deafeated. Gale pulls out a big stone and throw it to kill her archi-enemies, but fortunately, Artist Pig get back to normal and save the team, and he probably says to Willow: "Thank you for everything you done for me, we passed so many moments together, you learned me so drawing tips... so for this, i going sacrify me! not only you, but for all your friends... goodbye" and he gets smashed by the stone and dies. With the lost of the friend, Willow starts to cry so deep that makes everyone feels sad for her, Stella tries to acalm her but not appears to work. so Willow, by the pain of lost a good friend, stays so angry that she becomes a god too, and smacks Golden God in the punches, to her learn a lesson, before the final punch, some flashbacks of her with Artist Pig, from The Portrait and Premonition. After that we see that Willow killed Gale after she does the final smash and get back to normal. And after that the episode have the same final scene of before except that we can't see Artist Pig because he died, and Willow is sad.

I used to watch it when i was a younger teenage. Out of all the Angry Birds Toons I've watched, AB Stella had the best animation. I was disappointed that they cancelled its main app game too soon.

I never really planned on a season 2. It was really fun to make and I’d love to do more videos with my friends, they just don’t get views sadly. I feel like Jake or Fake wrapped up nicely as is but I’m sure at some point I’ll make something new with my friends. I’m really glad you enjoyed the series, I love rewatching those videos
