OK I spent like 5 minutes writing up a summary but turns out, and I kid you not, we just got more details in the last month, so I had to rewrite this! Basically, the guy playing SpongeBob (Ethan Slater) left his FIANCE for Ariana Grande, who he met on the set of Wicked. Slater had a kid before ditching his soon-to-be wife. She now has to raise the kid on her own. There's a ton more detail-wise if you want to look it up for yourself, it's so so sad and literally the only thing bad about going back to the musical :(

He could have won in in his own timeline in Algaes Always Greener. If he has access to the formula, he could read it and memorize as much as possible, then when he goes back to his old life he could write it down. And if its incomplete, he could just keep hopping back to the other reality and keep getting more info to bring back until its complete. (Edit: if krabs is a super genius with a lab he could sneak it over to him and maybe get him to build some device to let Plankton take the formula back to his home dimension) Also in Buried in Time, he had the formula, granted he had to poop it out but there's nothing that says it got destroyed in the process. Or he could just get cut open like he did in For Here or to Go, only he could probably take the time to get anesthetized since the glass bottle would protect the formula from getting digested. ('nother edit) Also In Plankton's Pet, couldn't he ask Spot to get more patties since he managed to pull it off already ?
