I believe I saw Pacific Rim Uprising Rising but if I did I forgot about it my love for Cailee kicked in after I saw Civil War since then I have fallen In love with her I have a big celebrity crush on her. I think Cailee is gorgeous and has the potential to be a great actress. However, to say shes one of the greatest acting forces in the industry today is a huge stretch. Her best performance was easily Alien: Romulus which is good being her latest role but she hasn't been great historically. Priscilla was a pretty mediocre movie that asked NOTHING of the actors. It was muted and bland in color and character. Sofia Coppola is not as talented as people pretend she is. And Cailee was just ok in Priscilla. She wasn't impressive. The movie was subpar. Pacific Rim Uprising is atrociously awful (not that the first one was anything special). Civil War is Cailee's highest quality film as far as story telling and plot are concerned but she wasn't the standout compared to Dunst, Moura and McKinley-Henderson. Cailee was good in it but wasn't ever the focus so it wasn't a particularly challenging role. Bad Times at the El Royale was good and she was good but again, wasn't the focus so it wasn't a demanding role enough to where anyone should praise the performance. Hemsworth, Bridges, Erivo, and Ham stood out above the rest there. She was ok in Devs but again, was such a minor character that it was hard to notice her really at all (she also played a biological male for some reason in that series). I have not seen The Mare of East Town or On the Basis of Sex or The First Lady but I think I've seen all of her other work including the music videos and the 15 minute short film about alcohol addiction. Oh, I also haven't seen The Craft or How It Ends but their reviews don't give me confidence that it's worth checking out. She wasn't in Vice. She was in a single deleted scene. I feel like we cannot count that. Cailee has the acting potential to be special but I cannot imagine saying she is special already. She has the looks and seems to have the drive, effort, and passion to be great but she is NOT great yet and has NOT been great yet in any film. She seems to underact but I can't say any of her films lay the groundwork for her to excel in the first place. None of the films shes in are acting showcases for anyone in them. She needs a Black Swan or I, Tonya type of role to show what she's got. She is a lead now with Priscilla and Romulus. She's no longer a supporting actor in the background. She's starting to be the focus but Priscilla and Alien were not impressive performances nor were they impressive films. The latter sort of was but it was a reboot and didn't break any ground. I'm a tentative Cailee Spaeny fan...I think there's something there somewhere but she has NOT shown it yet. I hope I'm right that she has it deep down but only time will tell. Also...Cailee was 20 years old in Pacific Rim Uprising. It was released in 2018, she was born in 1998
