I love his music. Look, I am a 51 year old woman and I have been a fan of James Charles for years. I first heard about James when he was made the face of Cover Girl and I was proud of him thinking it was an awesome thing for any person let alone a teenager to accomplish. The fact that he was a young man wearing make-up didnt register to me as anything out of the norm. I started watching his channel and thought he seemed like a really nice kid and that he was talented and hilariously funny. When the problems began to start and he began having issues I never changed my opinion of him one bit. At the end of the day James was just a kid living on his own and trying to navigate his way through life and was stumbling in the dark. He trusted the wrong people to have his back like Tati and Jeffrey Starr, whose actions damn near drove him to suicide AT 19 YEARS OLD! Relationships can be hard... wanting someone to love you and accept you is normal and finding the right person is hard for straight people (I'm single ) its even harder when you're gay or a lesbian. People lie, and thats what kept happening to James. People lying to him. Gay baiting him. Using him for that 15 minutes of fame and saying it was him at fault. James mistake was in looking for love in the wrong places in the wrong way and not taking into consideration his fame. He was trying to be a normal person living a normal life and he cant live that way because of who he is. James has come a long way in his musical talent and has worked hard. His voice is beautiful and the songs are amazing (I have both downloaded to my phone) I watched this video when it aired and I cried with the biggest smile on my face cause it was beautiful and touching and because I got exactly what he was saying and talking about. People need to get over the past and let it go and stip being so negative in their thinking. Stop thinking that every gay or lesbian individual is a preditor or a groomer. You have plenty of straight men and women who are preditors and groomers.....

I am not going to lie….i teared up a little bit. I think it was a combination of the lyrics and the dancing 🤍 I have never been a fan of James but that was a beautiful video. Incredible video, lyrics and vocals. James has worked his ass off with a vocal coach. There’s a video of him singing while playing the piano and he sounds very good. Yes, there are videos where he didn’t have that vocal training.
