I just know [S] Cascade is that 1st big Flash in the whole series, I've watched it because it's amazing but tbh I never made it up to it. Just somewhere just before it, I just know it's a solid marker in the series that people kniw where it is when mentioned. Tbh it's a bit bummer cuz my understanding of a lot of the characters come from fan comics and other fanworks rather than their canon depiction so oops there, rip me. Regardless of how far I got and how I don't like to think about that time in my life outside of enjoying Homestuck, I'm still so appreciative how many creatives were inspired from it, to make their own works, to work harder on their own art, to start the career in voice acting etc.

these brought back so many good memories. I know you're cringed out by yourself but I'm so happy you made these comics, voice acted and all that. absolutely wonderful times. sometimes your work was the only thing that could bring me distraction and a smile. i love and appreciate everything you've done. followed you on Tumblr for a long time, not sure where you went but i always loved checking out your blog for new content. thanks for being you ♥️

I know it hits different because your content was so popularized in the fandom, but it’s okay that at one point you were passionate and sincerely enjoying content! It’s wonderful that you could create without too much fear about something you enjoyed! I hope one day you can look back on your work based on the joy it gave you rather on how your perception of yourself changed over time

I can say I met great friends through the fandom. Some I am friends with til this day, it had its downside but things like Elevatorstuck and the music will always make me smile. But I am GLAD TikTok didnt exist at the time, if would be too much.

I remember watching your stuff and enjoying it. Your stuff was top tier at the time! It's okay to cringe now but we were having a lot of harmless fun! I wouldn't want to go back and change that now cringey comic voice stuff for anything :) But you did make me feel old so I don't appreciate that lmao

i got into Homestuck when i was a freshman in high school. sold me soul to hussie. same year found out about octopimp and headcanon'd him as the voices. 4 years later came the end of homestuck. i died eternally. Hiveswap came out soon after, was happy then died again. when friendsim and pesterquest came out, i was jumping for joy while holding on to broken pieces of my heart. Theeeen when Homestuck^2 came out, i was scared for my well being and questioned my sanity. Dare i read it? Well i put on the backburner. Jump to last week........ Im heckin reading it. My heart feels like its starting to heal a bit. Now I see this video. Im filled with much nostalgia. I loved watching Octopimp HS dubs and it made me very sad when he stop, but the moment i heard him do his voices, i feel whole again. Octopimp, you may cringe from your past, but remember that your past holds so much love from the HS community. Your past inspired so many, me being one, to peruse voice acting. Never forget where you came from and remember... *You can't fight the Homestuck*

Oh my god I saw the username and felt a cold chill up my spine. This dude is literally the ENTIRE reason I got into Homestuck. Like he just showed up on my KZbin and I binged a bunch of his videos and then decided, what the hell, I'll read it. This man ruined my entire life lmao.

I was in high school 2010-2014 and was addicted to tumblr. My friend showed me homestuck in 2012 and had another friend that was into it. I immediately went into the fandom on tumblr and was shown your yt videos by said friends. I became a huge fan of your yt and watched all your videos religously. I only used your voices as reference for the characters bc they were so spot on. Im 25 now and still fond of homestuck but this really threw me back into nostalgia. Now that ik youre on twitch ill def watch your streams.

As someone who was knee deep in the homestuck train years ago this kinda made me nostalgic for those years... Only a little tho 'cuz most of it was straight CRINGE 😂😅 I remember watching your comic videos on Tumblr and on the "ask the trolls" blogs that were always around... Good times.

homestuck pioneered modern fandom. no amount of people had cared so deeply about something so relatively underground in such a capacity before. you could say bronies but Friendship is Magic wasn't made out of some guy's house in West Virginia. every other fandom and fan character and what have you on tumblr/modern twitter is thanks to some dude deciding to add a race of internet trolls to his adventure game comic
